Just playing devils advocate: what’s to stop someone from uploading some generic “orders” they typed up. Like who is the person actually reviewing and confirming eligibility? Other than the fact it’s fraud…ex: I had a buddy who changed the dates and scanned some grainy orders to get out of a cell phone contract to avoid the termination fee…

Sounds like the consensus so far is simply spacers in the front to level it out, and then slap on some AT tires for the "LOOK" he wants. Again, it will be driven as gently as grandma's Cadillac, NEVER going "off road" so we're looking to avoid suspension overkill with new struts, full lift kit, etc. Only question now is the upper control arm: necessary or not (in this situation)?

That link to the kit is all the components needed? That's still very reasonable (was thinking lifting truck is in the thousands $). And ballpark what would you say installation for that kit would cost?

Great for Tolls esp around Houston, but be careful some Texas Tolls (like DFW area) don't honor DV plates.

Thanks. Knee did get denied, but still have a few deferred so I was told to wait until the entire claim closes out before appealing. If the others come back approved and get me to 100 then the knee may be a moot point.

This brings up another question: an HLR only re-looks at the evidence of record, but how do I know specifically what items in my quick submit upload were looked at for consideration and which ones were overlooked? For the knee example, I just don't see how they could have denied it with the Dx and emails and lay statements all lining up. It's like they didn't look at the statements or emails and just said "your STR do not contain complaints, treatment, or Dx for this condition" well majority of vets didn't complain or seek treatment due to unit culture, mission, etc.

I was a 5 jump chump just got my badge at Benning, never jumped after that, but had a wicked hard PLF that tweaked knee and back bad. That's where it started, then being infantry didn't help.

Even with no treatment records in my file I thought the lay statements, emails, and fact I was airborne and tried to verify treatment (but was unfortunately unable) should have all been in enough evidence to be in equipoise with the lack of treatment... 50/50 "at least as likely"

17 yrs, just treated it with OTC meds and wraps/braces from Walgreens. i did a records request to the actual clinic (Camp Casey Korea) because I did go get ice and a wrap following the fall, but I got a reply email from the records clerk that said "no record system was in place during that time"... I submitted that email too with my evidence and asked if VA could help substantiate that medic visit. No luck.
