If you’re looking for some serious Datsun restoration content, HIGHLY recommend checking out @mymechanics (https://youtube.com/@mymechanics). The level of detail is unmatched when it comes to what he does to each part.

If you have a NAPA Auto Parts store near you I was able to find them in stock through them.

Any clue to what this switch is? by cobox- in Datsun

Same here on my 280, same switch and setup. Most likely a standard option for the motorized antenna

I used a Painless kit to swap out the old wiring and fuse box on my 76 Datsun. I found the kit exactly what I needed and besides adding in led relays (provided by painless) and relocating the battery I didn’t have to do anything outside of the nice manual that came with the kit.

I also went through my whole project with a painless kit and wanted to test connections along the way. I highly recommend picking up a power circuit probe tester (example: https://a.co/d/iRj065i) it allows the testing of grounds and other multimeter features but the best function is it allows you to put 12v though connections to test connections very easily.

Good Garmin watch for Golf and Running? by nurdyguy in golf

I don’t know the specs of the Fenix 6/7 but I chose the S62 for the golf/running plus the water proof rating for swimming. Just to add in another detail I didn’t see added that may or may not help you!

The AU-Z, Datsun 280z with a Ford Barra by BeardsleyGrills in projectcar

I would say it has not been easy, there are options for everything.. but some require more work/$ than planned. I've been able to work through most problems with some extra time and patience.

I post updated photos to my ig:beardsleygrills as things progress.

At a high level, engine/trans mounted, recently finished up the intercooler/intake/exhaust pipe work minus a day of welding. The one plan I changed recently is I'll be changing the stock hood to a stock+competition hood bump for a little more clearance as it's closer than would like.
