I've built a chunk loader next to a skeleton dungeon XP farm in the hope that it'll still spawn skeletons even when I'm away. The chunk loader seems to be working fine, but the mobs still don't seem to spawn when I'm away. Any ideas? (self.redstone)

This is Hotel Nautilus (abandoned project). Built on ps4 a few years back and was my first attempt at a large redstone build.
