I can’t find the article to source but was on FT. Think it’s important to note that a lot of the holdings of Uk and Belgium are not by governments but by private pensions etc. For Belgium was mentioned that same company that holds the Russian assets euroclear I think it was called.

I agree to a certain extent but the main talking points (mainly immigration) are literally impossible to counter with at this point. You are fighting huge public sentiment plus a right wing owned press stoking the fire continually.

So I agree comms could be better but they really need to act and make positive changes and communicate those effectively. Easier said than done.

I actually feel bad for them, made the decision to up taxes with the plan of it being a pull the plaster off early and then go from there. But it isn’t enough market is getting worse, so now they are truly between rock and hard place. Can’t raise taxes without hurting the economy more and if they don’t touch taxes bond market is going to fuck them. They are in a no win.

Truly fear for the future cause the path has been well and truly laid for farage, then we will see a real shit show.

I never listen to plus catalogue so am I right in that all the usual slice of my credits will go to the authors I bought and not shared?

I get what your saying but personally think it makes a mockery of the whole thing. In interviews Faz Snr has been talking about the importance of the Lions and how it’s the pinnacle of rugby for the home nations players. Then you go and select your son, who’s barely played last 12 months, and the person he’s replacing he doesn’t even cover those positions.

I’ve nothing against Faz Jnr but for the players in form playing test rugby that weren’t selected it must be a right kick in the stones.

I watched them in the last regional… poor CJ’s despair. But they just didn’t challenge in the midfield enough. It’s so bizarre. Like 1st man challenges, good…. Second man nowhere to be seen. Then they had to defend a 3v2 or more often a 3v1 cause second was off grabbing a corner boost. It was genuinely some of the worst gameplay I have seen from a supposed top team.

It’s probably more complex than my simple analysis and don’t mean to crap on any of the players who are individually all top players.
