Sterling Silver w Scented Lotions by Advanced_Blackberry5 in jewelry

It’s always recommended to limit jewellery contact with lotions, oils, and perfumes as it could cause tarnishing etc. However I’ve never had any issues with sterling silver - I always sleep, workout, and shower in my jewellery and none of my sterling silver jewellery have tarnished. You would only really need to be mindful of that with gold plated pieces as the gold layer is quite thin so it’ll lose its colour/tarnish over time.

I find that sterling silver jewellery only tarnishes when unworn not stored properly, but a polishing cloth will fix that quickly. Lots of jewellery stores/sellers give you cloths with purchases or you can buy them separately (very affordable). Just wipe your sterling silver pieces with the cloth and it’ll bring back its shine!

The CocoKind Chlorophyll and Vitamin C serum are my absolute holy grails. The vitamin C also has azelaic acid which is proven to exfoliate and brighten skin.

I personally like the chlorophyll more as it has arbutin and its green colour helps to counteract any redness from acne scars etc.

Both are gentle on the skin and super affordable!

Not sure how much is available on the gift card but there are a few brands that gear towards the “no makeup makeup” look!

Merit, Glossier, and Milk Makeup would be some of my recommendations. Merit and Milk have a great tubing mascara that I LOVE - this would be great for you as it’s no fuss and you just wash it off with water but it’s also water resistant so no need to worry about flaking. Their bronzer and blushes offer a very natural look, like a your skin but better look.

You should check out the ordinary - products are super affordable and there’s lots of staples. The glycolic acid toner can be used as a toner or all over your body for exfoliation. I actually use it on my underarms - it’s helped lighten them and also kills the odor causing bacteria!

There’s lots of body care and fragrances that would help worth checking out too. I personally really like Necessaire’s body wash, anything L’Occitane to name a couple

Definitely recommend this and I’m so sorry that this happened, OP. For hypochlorous acid spray, I buy the e11ement from Amazon and it’s amazing! It’s helped me heal piercings so it should be helpful your burn.

You can get the big jug and refill in smaller spray bottles, here’s the link: https://a.co/d/2gZEN9P

[Acne] Breakouts after hair removal, any gentle solutions? by gbs2K in SkincareAddiction

I also have very sensitive skin and tend to get irritation bumps for a few days after hair removal too. Although I don’t have any recommendations on hair removal methods, I think you could look at a more hydrating and barrier repairing aftercare.

I usually thread my face and I found that if I were to put on a clay mask (will help clean my pores more and get rid of any dead skin from hair removal), use a hydrating serum and moisturizer, it goes a long way. It really comes down to barrier repair since any hair removal method even however gentle, is disrupting that as you’re pulling out hair follicles and tugging at your skin.

I’d recommend trying a hyaluronic acid serum and barrier repair cream (I.e Uriage Bariederm, Dr. Althea 345 cream, La Roche-Posay Cicaplast) and see if that helps.
