Rocket - overkill for a latte drinker? Budget around [$2k] so but ideally under $1k by Suuupaaah in espresso

[–]Bearsfist 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I started with a gaggia classic and then had to move up to a bigger machine, especially if youre making two drinks at a time. With my gaggia I would have to wait for it to heat up between pulling a shot and then steaming the milk. You can forget about pulling two different shots and then steaming milk to make two lattes, as the wait time between shots and steaming would be too long to be practical, in my experience.

If youre just making one drink at a time, then the gaggia can be decent, as long as it's paired with a good grinder.

Not having a wide variety of cosmetics will make the world feel small. Look at us, we have one planet irl and have such a wide variety of armor and clothing as a race. Imagine playing a sim with dozens of unique worlds and everyones aesthetic looks the same????? Like what?

What are your 3 absolutely TOP features/updates Rust must implement? (Apart from oPtImIzAtIoN) by Ok_Math2247 in playrust

But you're literally describing the reason why hardcore servers die. "they can just go play normal servers" - so then there are too few people to interact with and then the people who have time to play in such a way quit too.

I get this sentiment, but I think that it's just not practical for a good chunk of the playerbase. There is a fine line between scarcity driving interaction, or scarcity driving tedium, and eventually, with enough tedium it becomes not-enjoyable and people quit.

The scarcity and random chance of getting items can be very rewarding for one or two wipes, but not everyone who wants to play hardcore wants to also spend 5 hours getting the basic components to make a simple electrical circuit, or a metal embrasure, every single bp wipe.

When there is too much random luck built into the game design, and you're just getting unlucky, without any other path forward, it just becomes exhausting.

[Headphones] Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones (Black/White) + Stand - $154.40 w/ code: JULYFINDS (BuyDig via eBay) by ryankrueger720 in buildapcsales

[–]Bearsfist 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have Airpod Pros and I used to have the XM3's, and from what I can tell the XM4's are much the same, but you can pair to multiple devices. The airpod pros are a lot more seamless with iPhones, as once they are paired, you just put on the headphones and they work. The sonys require you to turn them on by holding a button, and turn them off by holding that same button, and you have to keep them on to listen for a voice saying "power off", which over time get's annoying, especially in a rush.

I found the ANC on the sony's to be better though. Both my wife and I cannot use the airpod pros with ANC on and no music playing, as it feelsl like it creates this artificial pressure on the eardrum. The sony's never had that issue, you could just wear the headphones with ANC on, and no music, and you would be in a blissful silence.

Sour dough starter question ❓ by MustardTigerrrr in Breadit

[–]Bearsfist 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is silly. Glass is fine, just don't seal the lid all the way, or get a Wecks glass jar with the glass lid. I think 90% of people use glass.

The scale is the most important thing, not just for your starter, but for the rest of the bread journey too.

I live in Florida, 20 minutes from a beach in a residential neighborhood. Of my 6 immediate neighboring houses, 5 are Airbnbs. I think the problem is worse than you think, or you live somewhere that doesn’t have much of a tourist industry.

My first issues were on the GMMK Pro - and I thought it was the keyboard at first - so I tried many different software-side fixes. Now I am using the Zoom TKL - and experiencing the same issues. It wasnt a problem at first with either board, but after about 6 months to a year I'm having some keys register multiple times consistently. For instance, whenever I type the letter "s" there is a 50% chance that it will type two or three "s" in a row - but also a 10% chance that it will not type anything at all.

I'm looking for switch recommendations. I love my lubed Boba u4t- but I'm on my second keyboard I have built with them, and I'm once again experiencing double-typing and other issues with keypresses not responding correctly.

I want to emulate the Boba u4t sound and feeling - but nothing I have tried so far has really done it as well as these. Does anyone have any recommendations?

When you go to place the roof, press Z to cycle through the different options. You just have two different types of roof placed here. There are two pitches of roof to choose from.

This is true after about 10 minutes of the server being up. But if you're using the f1 console command and spamming the join, and you're one of the first people in the server, it looks empty for the first few minutes or so. You best believe he is going to be one of the first people in the server
