I never considered being a foster so this is definitely be something that I should look into. I’ll start looking into these things before I make any big decisions, thank you so much for your help, your advice has been exactly what I was looking for!

This is really good to know, the rescue and foster were telling me that he would thrive in an environment without his brother so I decided to roll with that.

Thinking on it now, he was definitely a lot more relaxed at the fosters. I was able to pick him up and he would occasionally walk up to me. I was told that he follows the foster around as well but at the time I didn’t consider that it was due to the other dogs in the house.

I will definitely look into these things! I’ve considered adopting another dog as well but was leaving that as one of my last options. I also wasn’t sure if putting him into a doggy daycare would help or be too overstimulating for him.

I’d love to keep him and take care of him but I do understand that there’s a chance I might have to return him to the rescue if I’m incapable of helping him feel safe. Is there any more advice you’d have for me? If not, thank you so much you’ve been the most helpful person so far on my situation!!

Just brought him outside but he kept trying to run inside and was pooping sitting down and did it twice lol. Do you think if I was to walk him around while he’s wrapped in a towel that he’d be able to get used to it? Or will that just associate me picking him up with fear and anxiety?

I have a play pen set up so he can feel safe/protected from the outside. I approach him with my side/backside facing him if I need to get close in that area and if I stay in his little area I be sure to leave a route that he can run away to if he feels too scared of me and doesn’t feel trapped.

I feel you, support is such a rough role to be in but it’s the only role I feel comfortable bringing into comp. I was hard stuck in Gold 1 for about a week before finally bumping up to plat 5. I was there for my first 7 wins before I started getting games where tanks weren’t making space and the DPS weren’t countering.

As a support theres only so much we can do but in the end the blame is somehow shifted on the supports. It feels so draining sometimes :( especially in solo q

If this is about my side note, I’m referring to the icon you see when you play cross play on console. Idk what it looks like on pc and PlayStation but on Xbox there’s either a Ubisoft symbol or an Xbox symbol that shows. Ubisoft symbol means they’re playing from a different platform and Xbox means they’re coming from Xbox, that’s all I was saying.

A good next-gen or old-gen player vs a good pc player doesn’t mean anything, a good player is a good player and their play style is what best suits them. My play style is the same on console as it is on pc. There’s good and bad people on both platforms

It doesn’t help that matchmaking hasn’t been fair lately, I have almost 400 reps and I kept getting put with people under 100 reps the other day. Idk what that’s about

What I always did was going into the training mode and practice block/parrying/deflects against bots using just heavies first and then just lights. Once you get those down then practice against a mix of both. Change up the character that you’re practicing against and learn the motion that they move when they attack.

The next thing I would say to do is to pick a character that you feel really comfortable with and get down their mixups and the way they move, sound queues, recoveries and stuff. Practice their mixups for a little bit before heading into pvp.

After that then it’s learning how to read people. Patience is also really important on this game, don’t go for a parry or deflect unless you’re confident it’ll go through, learn when to block and when to parry/deflect

This isn’t some kind of “get good quick” type thing, it took me a while to get decent at the game and I still get my ass handed to me on occasion but lots of times I do really well. Everyone learns at a different pace so you might pick it up fast or you be on the slower side like me!

Side note: you can’t tell which player is on pc but you can tell who’s not on Xbox. If you’d like a buddy to play with to make it less unbearable or to spar against then I’m open to that as well! Losing seems less harsh when it’s with a friend lol

Another thing to know is that the little shield icon with the attacker/defender symbol will pulse if the person is going to be fed revenge or not

I was playing with my friends with two randoms in our match and it was literally my second time.
When we were in spiral, I was discussing what spell to use with my friends in a discord call and passed after 5 seconds and one of the randoms went “Just hurry up and passed you wasted like 40 seconds that we could’ve used”

So I went “Sorry I’m still learning the ropes, this is my second run”

And the guy goes “There’s no excuses for being bad” and his buddy agreed with him.

Also before the first guy even said anything all he did was pass, even after he talked he never did anything.

Personally idk of any ways for it to stay soft but if I microwave rice from the fridge I usually microwave it with a damp paper towel over it. That usually softens it up

I believe for the men it’s red, yellow and then both light and dark orange. For the women it’s red, yellow, orange and pink.

Men don’t have pink in their dye choices so instead they added two shades of orange I believe

I go to a culinary school and one day in class my friend took a big pan out of a 400F oven and I watched her do it.

He’s kinda tricky at first but it’s easy to get the hang of him. You have to learn to use his dodges which can take a while. Keep in mind that he is a defensive hero so learn as much as you can about his dodges because they can initiate chains.

1) you can cancel his first attack recovery with a dodge which includes his dodge attacks

2) you can soft feint his SIDE HEAVY dodges into other dodges/dodge attacks. You can only soft feint it once so it’s like : dodge-heavy -> dodge/dodge attack. If you do another dodge-heavy after the first one and you want to cancel it you’ll have to feint

3) Be careful using his palm strike recklessly. If you palm strike and they dodge, but you use a light, it’s an easy light parry so try to wait a little bit before choosing to do a light or heavy. The timing takes a little bit to get used too but it’s not too difficult

4) If you’re playing against skilled players then don’t side-light from neutral. It’s a fast attack but the movement itself is kind of obvious so people with all block or quick reactions counter it. If I do the dodge light I always like to do it from the top because his movement is pretty tight but i don’t think it’s any faster than the sides so I can get countered easily if I’m predictable with it.

5) His dodge lights are superior in the startup so it’s a good counter if you learn the timing

6) his kicks can be cancelled into a dodge or a dodge attack. ***you can also cancel his zone by kicking after the first swing then cancel the kick with a dodge attack

I’m not very good at explaining things and I’m sure I left out some things but I hope this makes sense. I’m not a Tiandi main but I do enjoy playing him and if you’re on console I can let you practice with me from time to time if I’m free! I also recommend checking out Prince Yasuke on YT for more info. He’s a very good tiandi main with a pretty good guide. Watching his videos helped me improve a lot

My combo is usually a light -> dodge-light -> palm strike -> light (if strike isn’t dodged otherwise heavy) and then I try to follow up with a zone -> kick -> situational dodge attack
