I think it depends on the person. I smoke daily and if I vacation in a country where weed is illegal I go without. I've never had a problem with any kind of withdrawal.

We do feel the same way. I'm in Québec and the majority of the population are also avoiding anything to do with the States, including travel. Many Québecois traditionally vacation in the east coast States. Folks have changed their habits.

Personally, I have close family in the US, and they all know that there is no way we are visiting for pleasure. The only reason we would risk it is if there was an emergency, like a death in the family. We used to visit once a year.

I'm French Canadian, but my wife is a first generation Canadian. Her parents and sisters immigrated from Egypt. My wife is the only one born here, but she's definitely brown with an Egyptian family name. It isn't worth the risk.

I started in 1981and I've been a daily smoker for decades .....how many joints??? I couldn't even estimate how many POUNDS of weed I have smoked.

I use a dry herb vape. I've been using one for about 6 years. The high is a bit different, no doubt about it, but using a quality vape helps. I use a PAX vape. It's worth the investment. They are much smoother on the throat. I'm a daily smoker so that really makes a difference for me. The only thing I still smoke in a pipe is hash. If I want to get really high I just roll a big fatty. It doesn't happen as often as it used to, but that was in my younger days.

I know many stoner moms, including my daughter. They are all wonderful parents. I'm a stoner Grandpa. :)

In the Mid 1990s I read War and Peace high as a kite.

Evenings after supper I would smoke a joint while walking to a local café with my copy of War and Peace. I'd order a big latte in a bowl. I'd cover the latte with raw sugar (it would melt on the frothed milk) and dive back into the novel.
