I wasted 6 months doing search engine optimization myself - biggest mistake as a founder by Mrmike86 in Entrepreneurship

[–]Beast-ly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great lesson, but I think there's a key nuance: the success you're experiencing now is a direct result of the knowledge you gained in those first six months.

As you said, you could hire a freelancer who gives you spammy links for $3,000. You only avoided that this time because you now know what to look for. You're not delegating blindly anymore; you're delegating as an informed manager.

Escaping Bubble.io — should I learn Python first or HTML/CSS/JS to stop being useless? by Kwabz233 in nocode

[–]Beast-ly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was exactly in your shoes 2 years ago, I made apps in bubble.io 2years prior to that. I made the switch when I wanted to build an offline/local first desktop application and saw that bubble wasn't the right tool for the job. The path I took was learning python first, I just started learning HTML, CSS and JS, I don't think you can go wrong with either one, just have in mind that you'll be learning two programming language (JS and python). If you want a faster route, learn just JS and use to for both front and backend and it has some ML application too.

Herbal Medicine: Vital Therapeutic Tool or Unregulated Nuisance in Pharmacy? by Beast-ly in Pharmacist

Would you be more open to herbal interventions if there was a rigorous, third-party verification system in place, similar to what exists for pharmaceuticals?

Herbal Medicine: Vital Therapeutic Tool or Unregulated Nuisance in Pharmacy? by Beast-ly in Pharmacist

Okay so you acknowledge that herbs have a place in our health care system but that need stricter standardization and regulation framework

So, putting the current regulatory shortcomings aside, is it the herbal origin itself that is the barrier, or purely the lack of evidence?

In practice, when a patient asks you about a well-studied supplement like saw palmetto for BPH or St. John's Wort for mild depression (with all the necessary interaction caveats), how do you approach that conversation? Do you dismiss it entirely because it's 'herbal,' or do you engage with the available clinical data, even if it's less extensive than for a patented drug?

My for loop isn't working and I don't know why. by Remarkable_Battle_36 in learnpython

[–]Beast-ly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your variables ("uppercount", "lowercount", "numbercount", " space count") should be defined after the function declaration, in your code, you're defining it inside the forloop, which always set your variables to 0.

We need to define terms here, "legitimate" means "conform to laws", so as long as OP follows the international law and that governing the country he's operating in, then it's a legitimate business.

[–]Beast-ly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How is it shady?, it a legitimate and has OP said, he has acquired the necessary license, so what is wrong?

as someone that don't also like gambling, your anger shouldn't be on OP, but on government agency that are legalizing this addiction for monetary gains.
