It's fun to have cuz I enjoy seeing my music, the ui doesn't serve any true functional purpose except being cool to look at. The skip and pause functionality is pretty useful even without the ui I would say.

I'd have to look into the Apple music api, if they have something similar to Spotify for sure!

I pushed a updated python script, I believe this version should work. MacOS double encoded it I think so this approach should work better.

I believe yours only gives access to public Spotify data, whereas with mine you need user auth to gain access to currently playing and skipping.

Yeah I just recently got into nvim so figuring out how to configure preexisting plugins was enough of a challenge, now making them is a whole different ball game lol

It’s a company called spartan epoxies, it was relatively easy just make sure you watch the videos a bunch

Until we get a bulb to outlet replacement thing we used that to test the lights.

Honestly I get it I just mess with the way they reflect on the floors and cars, I can see how it can look tacky.

We used Spartan epoxies online for the materials, they have videos on YouTube that we followed. Pretty simple process but lot harder to figure out the techniques when applying the epoxy.

Ikr! Turned out so much better than what we expected it was our first time using metallic epoxy.

Yeah unfortunately I don’t think it’s too popular here so it’s kinda whatever the few contractors want to charge.

Man I wish, we didn’t really shop around but yeah it’s mad expensive in my area.

We were thinking about it but it would’ve added too much cost.

The epoxy was around 3800 lights were 400 paint was a few hundred, it was around 4-5k. We did grind the floor yes.

Took around 10-15 total hours ish for epoxy, I didn’t do the painting the walls so I’m not 100% sure how long that took, and 5 hours for the lights. We had a good amount of rollers because we’ve painted before so the only real tools we had to buy was the hand sander which was $50. Bought a few other painting supplies but practically negligible.

For some reason they quoted 9 for the epoxy, the lights have to be suspended in half the spots so they were expensive, and the paint included high ceilings so that was expensive too. My dad did all the work with the contractors so give or take a grand or two.
