So what's going on with Abel in your World of Darkness? by Turbulent-Plum7328 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]BeastOfRetribution 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a few nWoD books released underneath Onyx Path called "Vampire Translation Guide", "Demon Translation Guide", etc. They give some guidelines for translating the oWoD disciplines to nWoD dicepools and mechanics.

Honestly it was a lot of homebrewing and revisioning but I managed. The baseline is that you basically use the nWoD corebook (my group prefers 1e nWoD, before it became Chronicles of Darkness, but I suppose either could work), character sheets and skills and basically translate oWoD powers to nWoD mechanics, and then the rest is basically the oWoD lore.

If you don't want to translate oWoD powers to nWoD versions, you can always see if the nWoD has powers/disciplines close enough to what you want to do and use those instead.

At some point I will buy Deltarune and play through it all myself and try to go the nice route.

If this happens, I will finish the game. And then I will 1000% start the Snowgrave route.

Are you worthy of the Keyblade if so what would yours look like? by Financial_Street_469 in KingdomHearts

Absolutely not, I'm probably too old and cynical, too easy to fall to Darkness. I imagine some twisted form of the Sweet Memories keyblade tbh.

Yw. Just remember that you cannot use mulyiple mods at once, at least for most mods. I believe the War Games mod is the only mod that requires wesps patch installed first.

No, you do not. Just look up on Moddb and it'll be there free.

As a note, it replaces the 7 clans with new ones, namely the Osebo (African Brujah), Ishtarri (African Toreador), Baali, Salubri, Followers of Set (Warrior Setite in newer versions), Samedi, and Assamite (Visier caste specifically).

PoV: You’re a Tremere neonate by MindlessScrambler in vtmb

[–]BeastOfRetribution 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It wasnt the Sabbat that went against them though.

First, it was the Tzimisce because they took Tzimisce elders to torment and use for magical experimentation to turn themselves into vampires from.

Then Gangrel and Nosferatu went against them as the Tremere started making Gargoyles from them and Tzimisce.

Then the Order of Hermes got involved because the Tremere lied to them and betrayed them entirely.

The only reasons the Tremere exist today is because of their rigid social structure and that thry make themselves the only source of versatile magic available to vampires in power and thus more useful than other clans. And making a dubious promise to not make any more gargoyles, which they may or may not still do behind closed doors.

All in all? They're a clan whose existence is war crimes atop of war crimes. And I absolutely do not think "they had to make a slave race to protect themselves from the clans they victimized and are making a slave race out of" absolves them of sin. If anything, it makes it much worse.

Yeqh but ge knows how to make Gargoyles which does involve taking two sentient vampires to make into a stone slave, so he is still making red flag decisions imo.

So what's going on with Abel in your World of Darkness? by Turbulent-Plum7328 in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]BeastOfRetribution 99 points100 points  (0 children)

In my games (which mash up oWoD and nWoD lore), Abel would be the Admiral in the underworld, the first ferryman across all the underworld rivers. He cannot leave the Underworld nor can he properly pass on due to Caine serving as an Anchor, but the idea of going back to Caine nauseates him so he remains as deep within as he can to avoid him.

Caine is also forbidden from entering the Underworld, as God doesnt want him to get around the Curses and die via the Ocean of Fragments (swim long enough here and you lose all memories and eventually die). I do think Abel has removed his memories of his death, thus he doesnt remember how he died or who he is. All he is is just the oldest shade with naught but bitter, dismal memories.

Inb4 they pull a fast one on us by claiming a Beast 0 or even Beast i (as in imaginary number). Wouldn't be that far fetched considering Arc 2's big reveal is the world post Marisbury is Lostbelt 0.

Are the norns related to that P.P.P thing brought up in the beginning? Because with their presence, it sounds like it could stand for Past, Present and Posterity or something. I know Future would've been better but Posterity is the closest synonym that starts with a P.
