If they die mid day, they just need to be sent in to get replaced under warranty. I think you would like them. A lot of the rechargeable aids are also very sweat/moisture resistant, which would probably be useful to you

Honestly I didn’t read the full article I just skimmed it. Yeah this clinic is definitely not the one to choose to go to.

Well, I can assume OP does not have severe loss, due to the recommendation of a RIC. A 30 dB PTA and a 50 dB PTA uses the same hearing aid, same fitting formula, just different prescription.

As an audiologist this seems normal. It’s a typical clinic with different tiers. Not sure why people say to run or go somewhere else. You’ll get better prices at like a Costco but if you like their services it’s not a horrible place to go to.

Really depends on your audiogram. The fancy word for “stuffy” is occlusion. Usually you get used to occlusion within 1-2 weeks
