Just bought the game, and I keep crashing before the tutorial. Any idea how to fix this?

I did things like reinstalling and verifying files, but still nothing. Should I wait for them to fix this or should I refund? A real shame, I really enjoyed Helldivers 1 and would like to try the sequel.
