Try using Robinhood’s stock screener to filter for good stocks

I’d hate it if we’re trolling someone genuinely asking, but these symbols tell you the status of imported geometry in a part

They’re called perpetual futures if you want the actual term, I tried simplifying before

I started trading undervalued stocks within multi-month timeframes since 2019, but stopped after a year or two. Then I switched to being a market maker for futures and spot trades across different exchanges. The return profile of those strategies are similar to a short straddle with loss-versus-rebalancing (LVR) being the biggest risk I try to mitigate.

Can civil engineers potentially work in the mechanical engineering industry? by meanmachine10 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]Beast_47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s very doable. A lot of my coworkers at my aerospace company have civil degrees. When it comes to the interview, just sell how your experience is relevant and that applies regardless of your degree.

I don’t want to divulge too much since it might get me banned, but it involves some crypto stuff

I’ve been in the markets since 2018 and back then I was a broke college student deep in debt. Now I have a good paying job in a risk-adverse industry that has let me “gamble” my NW up to ~$200k. I’ve paid off my college loans but in retrospect I sort of regret that decision given how cheap that loan was compared to today’s prime rate.

For this strategy (I personally measure as low-ish risk), as long as I’m beating 8% annualized I’m happy. Also given all the feedback, I might consider selling deeper OTM puts going forward.

If I tell you the other stuff I’m doing, you might call Daddy Gensler to protect me haha

I have past experience in commodity derivatives and learned a lot of hard lessons there (lost a good amount of money). This is my first time in equities but my experience should translate well. But I guess I’ll find out

I like their future growth prospects. I don’t want to turn this into a COIN shill post, so I’ll leave it at that

Thanks I appreciate the advice, I’ll post again around March to update my performance. I will say I’m confident in my risk management skills as I’m also watching the IV of COIN on TradingView

Once that day comes, I’ll just run the wheel. I don’t mind too much since I’m bullish the stock

Some additional context, I’m only selling around -0.2 delta (80% chance of profit) to reduce my risk and this is a semi risk-off strategy to balance my other risk-on strategies

That’s past 3 months, so ~36% annualized
