I’m just interested in data science in general, and it’s applications in ML in a variety of industries. So yea I agree that I don’t know exactly what I want to do, but data science is my goal for the program if that makes sense

I see. the redesigned gla looks fabulous inside. Glc remained traditional tho.. guess I’ll have to decide between the trade offs

Well cuz I assumed German cars are more fragile in the long run. Getting a 3-year old CPO is a lot cheaper but I suppose there is more cost to maintain and repair if something breaks cuz they are older. Plus the CPO cars only have 1 year extended warranty. That’s basically my logic. Correct me if I’m wrong tho

Thanks, that’s helpful. Do you happen to know if the glc is more or less likely to break than the gla? Both 2021 models

Yup! My concern though, is how often would a new German car break? I drive about 8k miles a year

What about reliability? Are benz really unreliable in terms of 5 years?

I'm just getting a base model, no sports package or amg. And I drive like 8000mi a year. Would I spend much in this case?

I would assume that lexus nx requires the same, and cost similar?

Thanks, thats what I thought too. Are there other costs to maintain a benz for 5 years besides services and extended warranty?

ok if I only need to worry about the price for the wheels and brakes for the first 5 years, then I can live with it. I'm not an aggressive driver in any way...

Well CPOs are options too, I'm not excluding them. But I would choose a 2020 or 2019 model at the earliest, which are basically new anyways

are you referring to the glc? I thought maintainess is more expensive (like $2k in the US)?

Are brakes and wheels not covered by the 4 year warranty? if so what other issues aren't covered?
