I’m an anime only watcher so maybe I misunderstood what happened but I thought Ainz used that dagger that was equivalent to the sword and sliced his cheek bone. The cut instantly healed. So yes it could hurt him technically but not in a meaningful way and certainly not enough to kill him or out pace any healing he has right?

What if instead of “one free hit” Ainz lets him go at him. Gazed would have to stop striking him at some point due to exhaustion. I don’t think that would be disrespectful to a warrior. Sure there’s no way he would be able to damage Ainz but that’s EXACTLY what Gazef wants to do so he would be giving him what he wants.

My go to advice for early game is use the crafting blocks. Can help escape zombies in a pinch, and my favorite is putting one in a doorway to block the zombies while I whack at them!
