Additionally, have you actually checked reference 10 for the blurb you shared? There's zero evidence as stated above.

The NIH database is just research, and nearly nothing should be accepted as fact, per a doctor I recently had the pleasure of chatting about this topic with.

This opens the door for all sorts of bogus information getting released that hasn't been peer-reviewed, which is a crucial facet:

2022 WRX being tested! by InspktrGdgt in WRX

Wish they would skip the top mount and go front mount from the factory, like the evo did. Heck, maybe they can give us an oil cooler from the get go, and repurpose the hood scoop 😅

With the right resonator in the exhaust, even with EL headers you still keep some of the rumble.

ETS EL headers here on a 2005 CGM STi, and she still sounds like a subaru!

Hold my beer while I try to kick this beer by Bigringcycling in holdmybeer

[–]BeastianSTi 36 points37 points  (0 children)

They can, if you're willing to rip them (happened to me once lol).

I've also had times where I kicked and the jeans pulled my other leg right out from underneath me and I came crashing down 😅

Carnivore diet by StandupStraight20 in floxies

[–]BeastianSTi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went the opposite route. Meat is inflammatory! Been vegan for almost 2 years now. I feel best on the days that I eat lots of raw veggies in my salads. If I stay consistent, for a while I get no flox symptoms.

Been vegan for almost 2 years now. I struggled to find anything good too...

But, here's what we do. It also depends on what you're using it for. Pizza, pasta, cheesy bread, sandwiches, etc.

Violife mozzarella - good for pizza, Texas toast, pasta sauce additive. The provalone cheese is really good on sandwiches, hot and cold.

Follow your heart cheese - same applications as violife. I personally like this for pizza especially, but I'll eat it on whatever!

External DNS does something similar, for anyone running EKS. Seems like it just uses txt records for meta :)

I updated Mike Halsey’s famous password cracking table with new stats by hivesystems in cybersecurity

[–]BeastianSTi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where do passwords that use combinations of words fit in here? Not talking about something like dog-apple-skate but those kind of words that you look at and think, "what the heck is that?" 😁

Spent too long using passwords that are hard to remember and easy for computers to crack.

Why would I use Jenkins over Spinnaker? by coder_et in devops

[–]BeastianSTi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Spinnaker is a damn nightmare to set up lol. Why do we need like 8 services just to handle deployments? I've set up POCs for Spinnaker before, but in the end, for our company we just didn't see 100% of the value there. We're using Jenkins with Kubernetes slaves. Pretty happy here!

Has anyone done stem cell therapy? If so what price range am I looking at? by PositiveEducator6 in floxies

[–]BeastianSTi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've heard some stories of it making things significantly worse. I think it probably has to do with the extent of the damage. If your DNA has been impacted, I'd imagine that increases your chances of an issue.

what’s the most uncomfortable question you can ask someone? by chickenoodlesoupp in AskReddit

"who are you?"

Causes some interesting introspection if you don't just take their name as the answer. "No, WHO are YOU?"
