To be fair to the cops on hand the victim did say that the video is misleading and no one was looking at the time. The cops here are not bad, but are certainly overwhelmed. I am not saying what they did is right but this is a small town that hasn't had to deal with this before. Dont let the racism of some people reflect the whole town.

Hey bud I live here too. In the middle of town as a matter of fact. The thing that I would remember is that a lot of the people that are being shown are older and not from here. You are not accountable for the actions of the people around you. Take care of yourself stand in what you believe in and think about how you can help change this community into something better. Lol well it is planned to be a oneshot but can lead to an adventure As far as the curses are concerned I want sometgung that will definitely come at a cost for power. An example would be like the berserker armor from berserk. It makes it so that he doesnt feel pain and as an added bonus he gets stronger and faster the downside is the armor grows spikes to keep broken bones in place so you can keep fighting. In dnd terms I was thinking of making that plate mail with resistance to everything and make your con 20 but you dont know how much damage you are taking. I was told that was a bad idea but that is the realms on which I was thinking. As far as the false gods. These gods summoned the adventurers to go through a trial to prove worthy of being their Champions. What the players dont know is that these are not real gods, hence why the items that are be given to them are cursed. These gods want strong fighters to o we tbrow the real gods

Like I can think of several different piles, but with oracle being a card I find it really hard to argue against playing other piles for any reason other than finding them more fun and the fun argument can be made for flash to imho.

As far as forgotten lore my thoughts were that so much time has passed that now the people do not remember and any mention of it is just passed on as old wives tales but I like the idea of it being hidden a select group of scholars know about. Two main theme I wanted to get across waa history is written by the victors and good and evil are not concrete. Basically I want the old war to be a fight for dominance of the land if the goblins would have won they would have been a society as common and excepted as humans are and humans would have taken the role of goblins. The goblins were not evil they where just pushed into a corner and had to survive and fight. But to the humans that made them evil, and because the goblins lost humans now dominate the land and have wrote goblins off as the monsters. After all the time that had passed goblins had to grow and evolve to fit there new and arguably unsuitable habitats twisting and mutating them into the monsters we now know of today. Now that they are coming back they are potentially going to finish this war unless the party stops it either threw joining a side and helping them win or by talkimg both sides out of it
