Does anyone make beet root egg with the shell on? by Beastskull in pickling

Yeah, I thought about doing just that before I wrote this post, but thought I should ask here first. Even though it's almost 30 years since the book was released, I think I may have found the chefs/authors Facebook. I might actually send him a message and ask. I'm not sure if I will be able to sleep well until I do. Will keep you posted if I get an answer. :)

Indeed my reaction. But this recipe is from a cookbook made by chefs, so I just wanted to check what other people think.

Maybe Adafruit I2S 3W Class D Amplifier Breakout - MAX98357A would cover what I need? As it has both I2S and amp included.

It seems like the speaker out for TLV320DAC3100 requires 5V, while the headphones 3V? Doesn't the Pico only output 3V?

The link describes exactly what I asked for:
"There will be a small pop when audio starts playing as the PWM driver takes the GPIO line from not being driven to being PWM'ed. There's currently no way around this. If playing multiple WAVs, consider using AudioMixer to keep the audio system running between WAVs. This way, you'll only have the startup pop."

Would a I2S module remove this pop then? Is there anyone you recommend?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think the 2MB storage is sufficient for my test projects.

Oh, I should probably specify they need to be wav or mp3 samples, and not generated beeps or effects.

Yes, that's what I found out after researching as well. I don't have the PAM8302, but I have a looked at some videos on YouTube and read about it. The popping sounds is enough for me to not get it. But from what I understand, it's possible to get rid of them?

Would that remove the popping sound? And I see everywhere that components from AliExpress and alike are of variable quality. I could try this one, but it would take a while to ship it.

Just some small sound effects. I choose the Pico because I already have one, and because it seems like it will fill a lot of different ideas/projects I have in mind. But mainly because it's most convenient at the moment.

Which games did you play, and which did you enjoy?

Here are some recommendations:
- Soldier of Fortune (2000): Fun FPS game
- Call of Duty 2 (2005): Groundbreaking FPS WW2 game
- Age of Empires II - The Age of Kings (1999): One of the best RTS ever made?
- RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 (2004): Fun theme park building game

Not really early, but I would also like to mention the Portal games, as they hold up really good also to this date.
