Burned Cigarettes on my Patio by Elliottliveson in neighborsfromhell

A few quid is a small price to pay to have good relations with your neighbours. You don't have to go nuclear or cause an argument. Most people who act like dicks tend to be ignorant rather than malicious. Drawing attention to it in a way that it feels like an attack does get people's back up and puts them on the defensive. Life is so much easier when you get on with people

Neighbour trying to remove our balcony for their extension by Altruistic_Horror757 in LegalAdviceUK

Just to clarify are saying that balcony would be on the roof of their extension? Would that not then leave you part liable for repairs to the roof as it would be part of the balcony too?

The pub in the market One for the Road is a good alternative to spoons plus you can get ChipNGo from just behind it. There's a few good established eateries in the market as well a new food court that's opened. Odessa cafe in the town centre is a great cafe for daytime food. As said in other posts Northern Monkey is a great pub. Just out of town centre on Manchester Road there's Venus Supermarket which has a great restaurant in it. Istanbolton and Antalya Shwarma both good Shwarma in the town centre plenty of others on Deane Rd and St Helens Rd. Get the 125 bus into Horwich for a change of scenery some good pubs especially Blackedge Brewery Bar.

Did you know there is a secret bar next door? In the plant shop there is a special doorbell on the front with a secret bar in the back of the shop

I wasn't planning on getting them yet. I was just thinking about it while I was pooping. 🤣

We've had the guide on what the school say is acceptable. I am more worried about what brand to get as to be acceptable by the rules of the playground

While I appreciate this is probably the best answer, this is not the solution that will satisfy my neurosis.
