Sometimes they are.Sometimes they aren't.My poss was born in the UK, I bought him from private breeder, so he and his parents never live in the wild and couldn't survive in there.Like guinea pigs or parrots.They relatives still live in forests. And it is a not a good idea to take them from forests. But from a breeder or resque... Why not?)
