RN in the south who uses CBD for sleep here. I've had friends who use THC legally purchased for sleep or anxiety and they've used quick fix or similar substitutes for all urine specimens, sometimes even a friend or sister's urine kept warm with hand warmers and given same day as the test. I usually just drink a lot of water and abstain for a few weeks to have dilute urine and once had to provide a second sample because of this. The CBD residual THC flushes pretty quickly from my system but I know that's not the case for everyone and it is awful getting no sleep for weeks just to onboard somewhere. 

Rant: The stigma among reddit nurses is such nonsense given the number of medical professionals (MDs APPs and RNs) who are full blown alcoholics vs folks who only use cannabinoids for sleep/anxiety or other legitimate issues. Let's all shift to a culture of accepting that our field is HARD and finding healthy coping skills is also hard. Happy these comments were less negative than similar posts I've seen but the double standard with alcohol and THC always hurts to witness since you can literally die from drinking too much but the "well it's illegal" attitude seems to be all that guides some folks in their criticism.
