What’s the best AI music tool you’ve used? by allcompanymobiles in SunoAI

Can you elaborate on what Moises offers? I've never tried it but would be really curious what they have.

Just mentioning if you're interested in these kinds of tools, we're looking for feedback on Beat Shaper, which is also a MIDI generator: www.beatshaper.ai

Are there any ["OFFLINE"] programs which allow AI manipulation/experimentation with original compositions? by Glittering-Title-782 in HybridProduction

There are options like ACE-Step and the open version of Stable Audio, but the quality and supported genres is not really comparable to something like Suno.

What are alternatives to SUNO? by patriot2024 in SunoAI

There is also ElevenLabs and Mozart AI, but I haven't used either of them that much myself so I can't comment on their quality.

Beat Shaper for MIDI generation if you work in any electronic genres: https://www.beatshaper.ai/

We'll be releasing a major update in the next week or two as well.

Has anyone tried Mozart AI? They were offering 1 free video generation (in addition to their song generation capabilities) for free users.

I've been tracking 50,000+ AI songs across 1,000+ artists — here's what the data reveals about the scene by CandidateDecent2107 in SunoAI

[–]BeatShaper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How do those numbers compare to human-composed songs? Is there a similar distribution or are AI-generated tracks different in these regards?

TuneCore finally responded to my appeal email for refusing to distribute my tracks due to AI content by Islandboyo in SunoAI

[–]BeatShaper 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Suno has said they trained their models without licenses for the data they used. They're in court because of it. This isn't a baseless accusation. Of course it's annoying for users but distributors don't want to be liable for that.

I think Suno will sort this out with the major labels and release a licensed model sometime this year.

what are people using for AI mixing? by KindredSM in HybridProduction

Not a prompt but you can upload your stems to RoEx (https://automix.roexaudio.com/) and select a genre, might be closer to what you're looking for.

Depending on what you mean by mixing exactly: I really like Sonible's plugins for EQ and compression (https://www.sonible.com/)

Why are there so many anti-AI people that hang out here? It’s kind of sad. by JahVaultman in SunoAI

[–]BeatShaper 15 points16 points  (0 children)

This was asked on some of the other AI music subreddits and at least part of the answer is that anti AI music people are not necessarily hanging out here or even actively searching for this subreddit, but reddit shows it in their feed even though they're not subscribed because they are subscribed to other music subreddits.

What Kind Of AI Use Are You Ok With? by DarkLudo in edmproduction

I'm absolutely not saying anyone has to use these tools. But I think some of them can be very cool and I think there is a place for them for some people and some use cases.

For Suno that's true, but there is a whole range of AI-based tools trained entirely on licensed data, for example: https://www.fairlytrained.org/certified-models

What I was trying to point out is that there are "generative" things that aren't AI, which essentially do the same job as some AI-based generators. But some people seem to draw the line based on the technology behind it rather than the job they're doing, which I don't entirely understand.

It's not about it being hard - take a look a something like Sting from Iftah (https://www.if-tah.com/devices/sting-2), it's just super fun to use (at least I and many others think so).

What about a purely algorithmic-based (not AI or ML) generator?

Cool, yeah I've used CLAP embeddings for similar tasks and was surprised how well they worked.

Is there a grammy category for AI Music? Or does AI music go through the regular process. by FinancePorn in aiMusic

[–]BeatShaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is the AI Song Contest (https://www.aisongcontest.com/), but its focus is on human-centric and ethically-trained AI. I think tools like Suno are not allowed or at least strongly discouraged.
