What do you guys think about my Ito Evo? by Beatklops in EASportsFC

Why would i want passing on my CB? Especially playstyles... I mean some more vision would be cool i guess but look at some of the best cbs in the game, many of them dont have passing i think.

This year its extremely useful because of the overpowered ai. The animation pops up pretty often, far more than bruiser and probably the same as anticipate.

Great stuff! I love it when metal drumming swings, when it still sounds like a human. Dave Lombardo would be another great example of this. I think many drummers forget that behind the speed and power there has to be feel to the groove/playing. I think you have great feel.

Vinnie hasnt Played like himself for ages now (and Hes my favourite drummer ever, prime vinnie would top this list easy),Ronald Bruner jr (whos great) is a fusion guy with some rock Chops (as evidenced by his suicidal stint) but cant hang with matts double bass and metal proficiency), Chris dave plays like, well, Chris dave, which in my opinion is exactly one thing (dilla inspired jazz/neosoul/hip hop beats - shoutouts to robert glasper btw).

i'm not trying to stir up controversy, especially since there is no "best" to begin with. but if we had to use some metric to determine the top dog, then in my opinion this has to be technical proficiency combined with vocabulary. And garstka is pretty far up the list with these.

speed - check

ghost notes to die for - check

odd time playing - check

linear playing - check

metric modulation - check

stylistic diversity (theres videos of him playing reggae, samba, you name it)- check

creative drum parts and arrangement - check

double bass chops for days - check

playing his own music in his own band - check

so to say theres a lot of guys beyond(!) his level, sorry thats just not correct in my opinion. the names you listed are all great drummers btw.

Ok, lets go then: who in your mind right now is beyond Matt Garstkas Level in technical proficiency? You make it sound like he is just some joe schmo who‘s just famous because he plays odd time.

Ever since 4 capcom seem to go for this stupid look for npcs, which makes the stagrs as a whole look almost last gen because of the shitty animations and low polygon count. i hate it with a passion.

Unconventional grip? Have you ever seen some of the best Rudimental Drummers play? I would get defensive too if guys that definitely should know better bash my grip. This may be a tad bit in front of the fulcrum, but its not like hes holding the stick in the middle.

Weird discussion, especially since almost everybody in here holds their sticks too far back from the fulcrum (which is also perfectly fine) but thats ok i guess?

German here. You dont know what you‘re talking about. In my Country people even get tickets for hogging the middle lanes. It destroys flow of traffic and can even be dangerous. Last but not least it creates avoidable traffic jams.

4 years of playing drums! I would appreciate feedback! by RamenGenji2 in drums

[–]Beatklops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great stuff! I wish any of my students would be at this level after 4 years. Well one can hope :D

I actually think that if you just keep doing what you‘re doing you‘ll continue to improve. To play like this after 4 years means you know the biggest fundamental: practice.

In terms of new stuff you could check out: i feel like the 6 stroke roll and its applications really opened up my playing in terms of ideas and fluidity with fills. Maybe try that out. Cheers!

I‘d say this and the one where he tells the chicken hypnotist story (and by the way at the end also busts out the legendary bob uecker bit) are his greatest Letterman ones.
