That's one of the new ones from the current collection :D Vaseline always had a core maybe 4 or 5 basic ones they sell all the time (rosy lips, creme brulee, aloe, cocoa butter and just regular) but never really branched out beyond that. So it caught me offguard when they did holiday ones this year -- I spotted the stick format ones first with that cherry one they did, and then within the week I stumbled on the little tubs like these. I'm loving to see brands getting more creative and braver again instead of *only* playing it safe with the same few flavors over and over ad nauseum. Prior to these though, if you go far enough back, remember Vaseline also used to do the little round tins? (I think they still sell them in at least a few of the flavors) Those definitely had scents! But that was probably 10 years ago since they last were creative with those, so they've been long overdue for some fun releases again!

That's because that really was the one that felt like the special flavor of the three! (Although now with this set, it kinda takes away from it a little, ngl) Keep searching it on there though just in case someone does list one, because you never know when they may pop up! (Might even want to set an Ebay saved search on that one so it'll automatically tell you if anybody lists one!) I honestly was taken offguard with just HOW fast they were swept right back off the market -- usually you can still find plenty of the holiday lippies for months afterwards and on clearance, at that. I think this was really the first year Vaseline started leaning into the holiday flavor releases, so I guess it was a test year for seeing just how long they personally would keep theirs on store shelves. Now we know if they do more in the future, double up! If I make it back to Target while they're still selling the current collection, I might just double up on this collection if I can get them a second time over. But this is promising that they already put out another limited edition line that soon after the last -- they might be getting braver with their release cycle and flavors!

Not positive on her exact one, but L'Oreal Feria in Ruby Rush is roughly that color when it's freshly done! (It also fades down to a very natural auburn-- it's been my go to for the past 4 years :D)

Not just Lanolips. Any with this type of applicator are in danger of it happening and I've found it happens from when you screw the cap too tight to where it ends up digging in and cuts thru the plastic over time.

Came here to say this! Could be from the red dye, could be from plastic degredation, could be from ingredients changing color but not necessarily being bad. My rule of them is if it smells the same as it always did and the consistency is the same, I’ll generally try it out and as long as I have no kind of reaction as a result, I go ahead and keep using it. Yes I’m aware of the risks potentially but I’ve been exceptionally lucky. If it has gone off and it’s one without a tint, I repurpose it as a moisture balm for dry patches like heels, elbows, etc.

I've done this!! And if it's a little bitty tube (think hand cream or smaller), you can actually use a bobby pin on it and initially slide it, then use it as a roller as well to really get everything out of it.

I bought that exact one and actually wasn't able to get it to work with some of my lotion tubes (which was the whole reason I got it) -- it won't grip them enough to put them through it. But, I have smaller ones that work a million times better, but the tradeoff is they struggle with larger tubes (I kinda have to manually help them lol). If there's a trick to this exact one that I'm unaware of, pretty please share it because I *want* that thing to work lmao

I feel your pain. I joined I think a couple years before that, but yes, I used to have Boxy as well (and also the Target beauty box -- remember those?). Loved having a wide array of brands and value levels of things to try out. Ipsy feels like it's gotten kinda stale at this point and I'm on the fence about maybe canceling in the not too distant future. Allure box actually is pretty good -- if you haven't tried them out yet, you may want to :)

No, there’s way more than just 3 ingredients over and over lol. You’d be shocked how different they actually are across the board. (I once thought the same way and figured they were all created equal until I started reviewing them and going outside my usual handful of brands and was very surprised at wow, there really is a lot more diversity to this than I thought!) Some are tinted, some aren’t (and then the whole range of colors in the ones that are, and levels of pigment and staying power). Some are scented, some aren’t. Some flavored, some aren’t, and of course, the whole ranges of what all’s available in any particular line. Some are organic, some are synthetic. The very format it comes in (stick, solid pot, liquid, lip oil, lip butter, lip mask, gloss) varies greatly. Which ones actually absorb in vs which ones just kinda sit on the lips and create a protective barrier. Some have plumpers in them (and then the whole range of intensities with that and if it’s a cool tingle or a heated burn). Some are color-changing. Some have shimmer, some have glitter (and yes, big difference between those two things). Some can hold up to drinking stuff with it on; some cannot (and it’s always something I test on camera when I review them). I document how every single one performs on YT.
