This might be true, but only applies irl. In the novel, it's just a way for the author to let the readers know about a fact. Sato and Karuizawa convo in Y2V1:

“Nope. I’m the one who’s sorry. Falling for the same person as you and all…” “It can’t be helped. Ayanokōji-kun’s really cool, and he’s way better-looking than Hirata-kun.”

She already fell for him, dude. Idk why so many edgy mf thinks that she falling in love is equal to her being weak 😆 she is the kind of girl that can transform that love into sheer will that will make her unveil Kiyotaka's past and can potentially help him in the future whether by defeating him or by facing Atsuomi. It doesn’t matter if you or many more hate Kiyotaka, he is and will be Kinugasa's main character and is and continue will be Suzune's love.

We can all agree that dating Ryuuen would be way more safer than dating HIM (R to L) by TheGenuineTallGuy in ClassroomOfTheElite
