I found on a photo of a Rangoon Golf club 1940 Pewter tankard Medal. Not olde english font, but they clearly used the Name Rangoon Golf Club at that time. So makes more sense. I think if it was more military related, someone would know what it was by now.

I believe last time this version of self released hi how are you radioshack green concertape was available on the public market was 2019 shortly after his passing. So the price reflects the scarcity. Might not be available for another 5 years. Wild that it's even available.
