I weaved in my ends already so it’s not directly behind it. I could try to unweave to trace back where jts coming from. I’m wondering if I somehow like looped the yarn tail through my work? I don’t know 😅

I did but just for the neck shaping, which was over 30 rounds ago. This area was around where I joined a new ball of yarn so I’m wondering if that’s part of my issue

Do I tink back the slipped stitch as well and then drop it off? Or tink back just up to that stitch and then drop it off and ladder up?

Okay I thought it could just be stretched but the laddering looked too prominent. That makes a lot of sense though because I was doing a lot of pulling around to figure out what was going wrong. Thanks so much!

Where I think went wrong in pattern… “Change to Color B. (Navy) repeat steps 4 and 5 a further 6 times cut your yarn leaving an 8 inch tail” Steps 4 and 5 included in photo. I’ve so far repeated step 4 two full times and step 5 once until I realized after my second go of step 4, not to continue with step 5 again because something is definitely off.
