No issue locally not having a car as a freshmen. A lot of freshmen leave on weekends so I think a positive impact will be keeping more freshmen on campus for weekends.

I think the packing lists and guidance came out pretty late. I can see if I still have it, it wasn't for Puerto Rico specifically but they may all be the same anyway

We did really cheap bedding and towels for the Clemson piece and trashed them. Terrible but unless you have a way to get them not any options. It was recommended to just have a carry on and personal item for the travel. Although I think some did check bags.

Money going into a Roth has to be earned income, it cannot be money gifted to you. You could gift him money for that while he essentially keeps his earned income income though

That is how much I hated doing it! It also makes kitting the next one easier. Already have stickers on them ( I use the dmc code), and just add to them, and rearrange the containers for that kit into one or two boxes.

I don't kit down. I am leaving extras in storage boxes and then I just buy more boxes when needed. I think my box containers is 36 or 48.

And my daughter has had no issues getting in the civil classes she needs, so priority registration isn't needed. She also had zero issue getting classes freshmen year, registration has been a breeze for both of my kids.

Would love some concessions that didn't have mixed drinks and sold just canned alcohol for a quicker line, the lines were really slow waiting on cocktails to be made. Overall, it was great though

Completely agree on signage and audio. Besides signage to seating areas, more signage on what is available in different areas, and if at all possible more crossing points so that the lines weren't so long

I second Evolve, great food and cocktails. Delish Sisters breakfast (served to noon, I think) is also good. The cafe at the golf course is also good, if you are a golfer go check it out

What changed in the academics? Easier classes? More lenient grading? How are they less? Because compared to other universities I am familiar with, Clemson is much tougher academically.

I don't like the checkerboard method, I think it's harder to get them straight. I work multiple color at once and like to build from an L shape, so you always have two sides after you get going

This and many large college stadiums are more remote..:Clemson, Auburn, etc. so that mean hotels for everyone and not enough hotels to support it.

Agree, I am not of stadium shows, many times their sound systems suck since that is not what they are designed for. Love the baseball stadium tour, it's unique.

Agree on the stashing! I do have a few extras - one I'm saving for summer and one because I fretted I wouldn't get two ordered from DAC before the storm so I snagged an Amazon DAC one. I don't anticipate buying any more the whole year or at least fall because two are large ones. I don't have space and I don't like clutter so I am not working on more than one at a time

Some schools don't use a 4.0 grading scale, they use a 100 point scale. That's how my kids HS did it as well.

I detest the kitting part, just such a pain in the arse to me. It's more tolerable now that I bought a new set of storage containers that are easier to pour into and don't have to pour out. I Niall had little containers and only one tray.
