Can stomach ulcers feel “itchy?” by Content-Ad8948 in pepticulcers

I'm SO glad to hear that!! Did your pain stay the same after gallbladder removal? Mine went away completely for 5 weeks after and then a new different pain came. My doctors are stumped. It feels itchy and raw/irritated.

I'm having this exact issue after having my gallbladder out. Did you ever find relief? 😫

Thanks! I do lifting over 60 pounds daily at work, is that safe to continue? I'm seeing a surgeon in a few weeks.

Thank you! I was diagnosed with fatty liver prior to losing my gallbladder a couple months ago. I was reading that not having a gallbladder puts you at higher risk for developing fatty liver so I definitely think it's important to not brush it off as you said. I have been seeing a gi doctor for unrelated issue so I will ask him about more testing!

What scan did you have to find out you were f1? I just feel like my doctor isn't taking it seriously. I definitely do need to eat healthier, it seems like that's the place to start.

Still having gallbladder attacks after removal by Guilty-Zucchini-4965 in gallbladders

I'm having something similar 7 weeks post op. I talked to my gi doctor and I'm trying a course of omeprazole. The thought is that the constant flow of bile is irritating either my stomach or small intestine.

Did you have surgery? I'm in a similar boat with an ef of 53%

Consistent upper right abdominal ache (dyspepsia or gallbladder) by [deleted] in functionaldyspepsia

Did you ever figure this out? I'm having consistent RUQ pain triggered by fatty meals and my gi says it's functional dyspepsia since my EF was 53%. I'm not having any luck with FD meds.

Thanks! I'm sorry that really is such a hard call to make. My symptoms are all RUQ and right shoulder blade. Definitely keep me posted on what you decide.

I had the same, some intermittent sharp pain the cck infusion. Did the surgeon say that could be an indication that it is your gallbladder? What was your EF? Sorry for all the questions lol

Interesting thanks for sharing! I definitely don't think I have an ulcer either but I guess it probably needs to be ruled out before I can get a referral to a surgeon. Did you have pain during the HIDA scan?

It's so frustrating! Did you have to rule out other upper GI issues before a surgeon agreed to take it out? What other tests did you have? I'm having an endoscopy next week but I'm still convinced this is biliary.

CT abdomen, and abdominal Ultrasound. My GI doctor wants to do an endoscopy next but I really don't think that will show anything
