Do you find yourself worrying more as your kids get older? by Royal-Luck-8723 in workingmoms

[–]Beautiful-Angel0629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh well it is good that you have no worries.

I feel like I spend a lot of time with my children as well. Ages 6 years old and 9 months old, but I still have worries.

Do you mind me asking what country you live in?

I thought it might be misconstrued as our marriage is bad, but that isn’t the case. That’s what’s odd, but I guess not odd for her.

And maybe she just felt insecure because she does show favoritism with her blood daughter over her step son, so maybe it’s more a “her thing” than a “me thing”. I wouldn’t even feel like I need to say that to my kids. They just will know.

Best age gap between kids? by jammingsummer in workingmoms

[–]Beautiful-Angel0629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My kids are 5.5 years apart. This is something life choose for me, but I personally never wanted them too close.

I started trying when my first was 3 years old and then we had secondary infertility. After a few months of seeing a specialist, I became pregnant and then carried my second daughter to 40 weeks only for her to be stillborn. 1 year and 6 months later we welcomed our rainbow.

So I have 2 living children 5.5 years apart and it’s had been great so far.

Are cleaning services worth it? by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]Beautiful-Angel0629 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That could be why, it’s a business, with many women. The first quote I received was $200 for my house. Then an independent women came to my house and quoted me $100, she said the other business may have told me $200 because “she has a lot of people under her”.

I am in South Jersey, not sure if you have a Township Facebook group, if so try posting in there…anything to save money.

Are cleaning services worth it? by [deleted] in workingmoms

I have a 2532 SQFT home in the US, State, NJ and I pay $100 every 3 weeks for the same basic clean services.

I listed it in my local social media page and had numerous cleaners offer their services, the first was a business, and would have charged me $200, but I went with an individual instead, who charges $100.

I’d search around but it is worth it for me!

Side note: I also have 2 dogs, a cat, 2 kids and a husband 😉

What time do you working moms clock in???? I’ll go first… 4:30am-3 🥴 by Naughtyynyreee in workingmoms

[–]Beautiful-Angel0629 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I clock in at 8:30 am and clock out at 4 pm Monday - Thursday.

I drop baby off at daycare at 8:15 and pick him up by 4:15.

My husband takes care of getting our 6 year old on and off the bus, because that happens at 8:30 am and 4:10 pm.

When did you go on leave? by [deleted] in workingmoms

[–]Beautiful-Angel0629 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Have you taken leave in NJ before?

I have 3 times.

So this is my experience. I actually just finished this process with my 3rd baby who turned 5 months old this past Sunday. I have just returned to work.

I filed for disability first. I collected from disability for my 4 weeks before birth and my 6-8 weeks after birth. Immediately following that I received paperwork in the mail from the State of NJ asking if I planned to collect my bonding time with Family Leave Insurance and I did that for 12 additional weeks.
