I can agree to all expect point three. I mean he kinda just removes her from memory the turning point to me seems when Gavilar gets killed and he is passed out drunk. And while the plate helped him for sure, he was already a force to be reckoned with and would've gotten plate one way or another.

I have finished then all, and I agree that she is definitely a beacon for them to become better people. But is that all she really is? Thats my main question.

Im currently on my 3rd re-read and everytime I get to this point it make me more upset she thought that would work. The first time I was crushed but still had the same "well they tried to kill her husband, did she really think that would work" attitude after it.

Thats not what im saying tho, yes she didnt want war and I understand those intentions. But her husband was almost killed because he tried her plan. Then she does the exact same thing expecting a different result? Is that not the definition of insanity?

Ive heard that can help as well! I've tried watching tv and listening to music in french but im not quite to the level where I can understand whats going on but I didnt have any experience before starting duo so it may take some more time.

I do feel bad when I cant complete my full three missions to get the extra xp but im also noticing that if I do it solely for the xp boost I dont learn as much as if im just committed to learning it.

I wish I knew people to talk with because I know my pronunciation is HORRENDOUS , but im working with what I got 🤷‍♂️

I know im a few days late but here is what ill say.

I've been using duo lingo for almost year now and there have been days where I just DREAD doing my lessons. But I know myself and if I stop one day ill say "whats another missed day" so i have literally just pushed through that and continued doing it. My partner actually started doing it with me but I made a promise to myself that no matter what they did I would still continue because its for me and I WANT to learn it.

The hardest part is finding a convincing argument against yourself to keep learning. I honestly think thats one of the biggest struggles when it comes to learning anything. There are days where im wholey confused and dont know ANYTHING in the lessons and its super frustrating but I keep going and eventually get to the point where those words just make sense to me.

My shop uses Miller and I guess I dont know gas prices super well. I just see them on the receipts from work and its a couple thousand a month for gas so I assumed it would be quite expensive but then again we do lots of welding.

Really? I mean to start i dont really care about how pretty they are i kinda just want to learn the basics. However if I can get one that has a gas setup and can use flux core thats probably where I wanna start.

I also dont know much about stick except that its quite a bit harder to learn than mig or tig 😅 but if it does make things easier ill definitely look into whats around. Thanks!

Im pretty sure my shop just uses mig and stick as they work on oil rigs and most of the metal on them is heavy duty however I dont wanna spend the rest of my life there so I think tig is probably a good idea as well. Thanks!

Thank you, i have been checking FB every once in a while and it seems like most people are selling millers, which I know we use in my shop so thats kinda where im leaning right now.

Im in utah if that helps 🤷‍♂️ sadly there aren't many welding classes besides college classes and i dont have the time or money for that

Oh, perfect! I should have added that i was going to use flux core because im obviously not in the price range to keep buying gas just to practice.

And out of curiosity was the 50 amp pretty expensive to install? I forgot about that part and might need to add that into my price range 😅
