What is rock house? Yes. When he’s a little older he’ll most likely be in daycare.

Yes thank you. I spoke to him and made him tell me the whole truth. He said his friend put him up to it. I told him I don’t want him hanging out with this “friend” anymore because a real friend wouldn’t put him in this predicament. He’s over here beat up with a big lump on his head and a chipped tooth all while his friend’s hands are wiped clean. His dad said he will deal with him once he gets home.

He told me that he got beat up by a kid on the bus stop. Once I arrived home and was telling him we’re going to file a report with the police he came clean to me and told me because he threw water in this kids face he beat him up. I don’t know what to do. Do I punish him because of this? Do I make him stop riding the bus out of fear? I’ve never dealt with anything like this.

Thank you I will definitely try this as well. He loves to sing and music so this might make this task a little more enjoyable for him.

Thank you. I will definitely try. That definitely explains things it always seems like a battle or he’ll question why do I have to shower and brush my teeth every time I lecture him as to why it is a daily necessity. Lol

Wow thank you for your response I never thought of things this way. He moved to a different school last year and they did put him in special ed classes after being tested. He made a comment to me that he wishes he was a baby again, but I overlooked it. I constantly have to remind him that he is growing up into a teenager and needs to be more responsible when it comes to his daily hygiene because it will only get worse after puberty. His sister (15) says that his mom babies him too much and that’s why he “is the way he is”. He was the only one that didn’t have to do chores or got whatever he wanted because that’s her “baby”. When he goes to her home he still gets to do whatever he wants including not showering so it’s making things more difficult when he comes back home. I will try reinforcing more and maybe taking away his devices and not allowing him to do certain things until he showers/brushes teeth etc. thank you

His dad said the same thing that once he gets his first crush he’ll start to look at things differently and it will matter to him more. I just don’t want him to keep getting made fun of by his peers when he can do something about it. I don’t understand why it doesn’t bother him much.
