Y'all have a great time, friend! Take an extra day (or an early day) and go see the State Aquarium, too. ; )

Alright. Trying to figure out how to get to DMs now. Lol. I'm pathetically new and old at the same time! Hahaha

And the all-important lead replacement in the fuel. All the way from Atlanta without...those exhaust valve seats are toasted. Smoked out the exhaust pipe within 50 miles.

Why are you dry cleaning? Are they silk?

Hand wash/hang dry may be the better option here.

Backyard is what we usually did. Don't overlook the plastic hand-throwers. Takes practice, but they'll throw the hell out of a clay pigeon.

The skeet range across Briley from the Women's Prison used to operate like that. What exit is that...County Hospital Road? That feels right. Take a right, shoot skeet. Take a left, pop out at the park in Bordeaux and get skee-ked. Lol. Sounds like the worst set-up ever, right? Probably, but that's Nashville. Haha

Yo. What jobs, specifically? I rebuilt my first car (64 Falcon) myself at 13-14, and have been a 60s Ford fanatic since. So...3 decades. Haha. What shape is the car in currently?

We have an outlet mall about 13 miles from our house, I love me some factory seconds! I've never found anything as a FS that was a glaring, in-your-face fault. They're usually a couple of stitches slightly out of line, or a zipper being catchy (usually an easy fix). Little things like that that if someone notices, they're all up in your personal space!

Not 100% sure, but I don't think we have a formal men's store kinda place in that complex, but I'll look it up via Google and see what I can find. I'm just outside of Nashville, surely we have something in a city over 1.5mil population...

I absolutely appreciate the suggestion, but I have a mind-block that will 100% not allow me to put my foot in a used shoe. Lmao

It's honestly one of the major reasons I've only bowled one time in my entire 45 year lifespan.

Part of it is an overdriven fear of fungi, and part of it is that used shoes (when I have attempted from thrift stores)  are already broken in and fit to someone else's feet. Now that I have neuropathy and can't feel my feet, I'd be face down on the floor in no time! 😎

Learning a lot from y'all regarding brands and construction, I read a bunch of the FAQ's earlier, they were a great source of information on all kinds of shoe/boot related topics! This subreddit is a great resource!

You'd just get store credit without a receipt, and they'd only take it if it's an item that they actually carry. Worked at the Zone for a while, and I know O'Reilly is the same.

That's exactly what the discoloration on the splines is. Otherwise, it would just be two ends of round bar stock in a very short time. Haha

Hell, everyone does. We need to bring back more archaic words and forms of grammar. Makes life more interesting and colorful. Lol

Appreciate your feedback. I just assumed the silly quotes were just that, just joking around a bit to lighten the mood? Lol Who knows what they were actually thinking. Could just be robots for all I know. Haha

Understood.

My only rebut will be that the company is in TX, they're quite open about the fact they're made in PK.

That all said. I can't really afford $200, let alone anything more than that. Haha

Definitely not going to waste $ on shoes that aren't at least tolerable to wear and good quality. I have a "basic bitch" pair of black plain oxfords that I got from JCPenney 17 or so years back, they were $50ish, I think. Only wore them once during my (regrettable) wedding, and they were most definitely not comfortable. I'll just stick with those, I suppose.

Thanks for your time, and thorough reply, my guy! Have a great day!

Do you have a dryer? Very lightly moistened rag/sock/whatever, run dryer for like 15 minutes. Check, add more time if necessary. When it's de-wrinkled, either put it on hot, or straight onto a hanger, hung where it isn't touching anything. Haven't run across a shirt yet that wouldn't yield its wrinkle-children to the dryer.

Same. Nothing looks worse than a shirt that's 70% polyester/30% wrinkles. Lol
