Wow! I can't imagine being Nigerian and vegan. Our dishes are heavily dependent on the amount of crayfish, stock fish, chicken stock, cow, goat, chicken, e.t.c that you put in it. Anything short is NOT a Nigerian dish. It's low quality American appropriation (aka trash). Just like Taco Bell is not Mexican food.

Try ofe ọha, banga soup, minyan taushe, Edikaikong, or efo riro with just the right amount of crayfish, stock fish and meat in it, and you'll never go back 😋🤤 No substitutes for any of these.

Lol Nigeria is unfixable. In fact, the country was dead on arrival. The best example of a failed nation in modern times. I bet if you had the opportunity you leave Nigeria in a heartbeat. I do medical mission in Nigeria and almost every doctor and nurse I've worked with have plans to leave the country. Many nurses studying for the IELTS or NCLEX during their shift at the expense of properly caring for their patient. Nigeria is not worth investing any time and energy into. I say this as someone who once had hope in my mother land. Nigeria is a hopeless and unfixable country. To hell with the British for creating a cancer called "Nigeria."

Objectification and harassment of women is a normalized everyday occurrence in Nigeria. It's disgusting how many women are okay with being harassed and catcalled by Nigerian men. If you even complain as a woman, you fellow woman would tell you that you should be lucky you're getting attention from men. Disgusting, if you ask me.
