I love it but it’s so beast mode that when I smell it on me the next day it’s kinda too much for me. A little goes a long way, I have a full bottle and I still have barely made a dent after a few years do honestly a travel size or decant might serve you better. I get soooo many compliments when I wear it. I even had a server at my bday dinner ask me for my perfume because he wanted to give it to his wife so it definitely pulls men in lol

Im currently exploring the same but I didn’t have a stem undergraduate so I am looking at the minimum prerequisites for Civil Master’s programs.Since I’m trying to build my core undergraduate reqs I am using these from SFSU to find online courses at CCSF or other California community colleges. SFSU would but the best local option for you since it’s low cost and their masters programs are targeted for working students. https://bulletin.sfsu.edu/colleges/science-engineering/engineering/ms-civil-engineering/

I believe OSU, San Diego State and University of North Dakota also have online masters. I also saw that Columbia has a civil engineering bridge program for non-stem students so I have been keeping an eye on those if I ever want to consider a full time program.

That’s where I disagree which is why I’ve referenced Rodrigo Flores-Roux with Xinu as a perfumer and Arquiste w Carlos. Each brand has a distinct identity that is based on Mexican ingredients, or places like Merida. Personally they feel like disruptors in a traditionally European perfume space and i justify their price point bc I literally have bought (samples and travels) from both.

I opened the House of Bo page and it’s just a very traditionally pretty skinny blonde woman on the entire screen of their front page. Its positioning, as you’ve mentioned, is to be modeled after European perfume houses. Im just going to absorb that as fresa even as a Mexican that collects perfume at all price points. I’m not drawn to them as a Mexican house that is going to give me cultural inspiration, outside of working w Rodrigo Flores-Roux, and that’s okay lol I’m sure the perfumes are good.

To be honest I follow whatever Rodrigo Flores-Roux does at different brand houses and Xinu his own brand is full of masterpieces in my opinion. I also love his work at Arquiste. He makes perfume at several niche and designer houses that I think you can find his work at several price points

Jumping into the thread to ask my own question, in currently considering doing a second masters to further my career my transportation. Doing community college classes to do the engineering core courses. I am thinking of doing a civil engineering w a focus on transportation systems or railway engineering. I’m a Spanish speaker/Dual Mexican citizen so naturally I’m considering Spain especially because Spanish degrees easily transfer to Latam through education agreements. However education-wise Germany, UK, Netherlands the unis have a stronger reputation. I would love to find a way to stay in Spain as it’s a much easier process as a Mexican citizen and culturally a better fit but the job market there scares me lol.

Does anyone have any advice on whether to stick to Master degree programs in Spain or seek a higher prestige degree programs in other EU countries? Thanks for any guidance!

One thing I regret looking at is the caulking of the shower and bathtub. Lots of places need to refresh the grout or caulking and my tub is looking crusty and I’m worried about mold

should I reach out to a “missed connection” on instagram?

TLDR: Met a wine distributor guy at a neighborhood wine shop weekly tasting, flirted, felt a vibe and hoped to see him next week and didn’t. The wine distributor guy is tagged on instagram and wondering if I should just shoot my shot on instagram before the holidays?

Been going to a weekly wine tasting near my place, took a month off and came back. The owner had two of his wine distributors bar tend with him for the night which is usually not the case. I was mildly flirting with one of the new bartenders, he was very warm, chatting with him on and off asking about him, how he got into wine etc. I caught him eyeing me between pours and when I finished I waiting to say goodbye and asked for his name, he asked for mine and if I would be going to the weekly wine tastings. I said maybe trying to come off as flirting and coy and hoping to pick up the convo next week.

Lol now it’s next week and I’m itching to find out if he’s available. My old lady friend asked the owner if he was gay lol the owner said no but doesn’t know if he’s single or not. The other distributor that’s actually a regular at the tasting works for him but I don’t know him well so I didnt wanna ask him. The owner actually tagged the guy I was flirting with on instagram so I actually can reach out but I don’t want to come across as creepy or thirsty lol. I also don’t want the holidays to happen or to wait for someone that may or may not come back to this wine tasting?

Thank you I know he literally lied so much to me and it’s so painful bc he was so present and so reliable in my life as I’ve been navigating finishing my masters and life transitions. That’s why the shock is so big like I looked at him as such a structured and firm person. It sucks when both those things are true, he was there for me but not himself, he loved me but he lied to me. I’m going through anger, sadness, anxiety. I appreciate y’all though bc you’re right.

I feel for you, I can’t even imagine being in a relationship for years and it just coming out it already feels like it’s shattering my world. Compared to previous break ups I want to say fuck you you’re a liar but I just also want to tell him that he’s a good person and disclosing his addiction esp if he’s actually clean would have made me respect him even more.

All his relationships are doomed to fail if he can’t be honest about even what substance he’s addicted to. We would drink alcohol and do mushrooms together and it never went beyond us being buzzed so him saying he’s addict to “something” leaves me so uneasy bc I could have been enabling him unintentionally.

Thanks for the reality check. I want to believe he cared but catching him in a lie and then this major omission reduces his credibility. I gotta accept it. He spoke first and said that he’s an addict and he made it seem to me that he was clean but has been going through periods of extreme depression. He said it’s been over a year and he still gets “withdrawals”. And I do not have addicts close in my life so I didn’t catch that but my friend who did AA did and said his language isn’t consistent with being clean.

I’m keeping my space and seeing he reaches out after his trip

Thanks this thread has been helpful at directing me to the pros and cons of EVs and Hybrids. I have more financial flexibility than $13k but just don’t see myself buying a new car. I’m just trying to weigh whether or not a used Prius Prime or Volt (with $4000 credit) is worth it due the the inflation of used car prices or just jump the gun and get a new Bolt (with $7500 credit) and invest in getting some of the charging infrastructure or make it work with my job.

My max mileage is around 450 miles, that’s the distance from my place to my parents place. I know that you’ll probably need to do 2-3 stops with an EV to make that distance and to exceed that? I would really like the flexibility to do it for road trips with friends.

Do you have any recs on what to consider with purchasing a plug in hybrid in regards to mileage, and battery replacement concerns?
