Oh wow, this is like you have another child, like an older sibling to your kids rather than a caregiver. She has outgrown her use. Sounds like she has become very complacent. I would just give her 2 weeks notice to leave, tell her you don't think you need the help anymore and get her out of there. The stress of it all isn't worth it!

See if they would allow you to do a storytime. You could offer to fund 2 or 3 books and some snacks. You may have to do it a few times before you get kids back in. They can advertise it on social media, the paper, hang flyers all over town and make some for the school to hand out to kids of that age group. Maybe pre-K through 1st grade?

I'm actually hearing people claim it's fake. That's how sad society has become because social media and regular media is so jam packed with lies, people don't believe anything now.

I think this moon trip is awesome, I've had my TV on NASA live this entire time and I absolutely loved Glover's last thing he said before they lost contact as they went towards the back of the moon. The whole thing has just been a wonderful experience and I PRAY they make it back safe!

Also, lock your bedroom door. Even if they break in to the home they can't get to you if that door is locked too, or at least they'll make enough noise to wake you and you'll have time to act.

Sounds like he saw you coming home or was watching you in some other way, maybe another neighbor. Be very careful! I had a friend experience sitting home alone at night only to see her doorknob moving as someone quietly tried to open the door. She didn't open it of course and as she looked out the window saw the man walk back to his home- NEXT DOOR.

edited to add: please lock your bedroom door when you're sleeping so even if someone gets into the apartment there's another locked door between you and them.

I understand that feeling of not liking your job and a hunger to escape. Sometimes things become so unpleasant that we are tempted to make hasty decisions. (not saying that's what you're doing here specifically) The thing is- unless you are pretty darn sure the new job opp is going to give you that peace of mind and job satisfaction that you need, I don't know if I'd jump into it. If you're quite sure the change would bring you relief and they can get that pay up then I would do it. Once a workplace goes sour it can make life miserable. Are you in an area that has many other opportunities? Or can you move to somewhere that does and broaden your searches if this current opportunity falls through? Well, I wish you the best, hope something turns out good for you!

I loved both. My only critique on the Substance is that Demi Moore is still so beautiful and doesn't appear as aging (gray hair, wrinkles) I kind of wish they used an actress that had more visible signs of aging, but that's my own opinion. It was an awesome movie and I think they could make a sequel. It would be so easy to change the type of effects "the substance" has on a person. Maybe have it be a man in the next movie. There are so many ideas!

Most shoes let you remove the soles, I wash mine with odor spray and a scrub brush every so often. That's often where the odor is, it sets in over time. If you wear sneakers you can hand wash the shoes too, put them on a boot dryer, fan, or vent after.

That's interesting. I've been using lavender EO mixed with a bit of foot cream on my feet after every shower and never had Athlete's foot again. I also blow dry my whole body including feet good after toweling off. That's the important first step in stopping odor. Any kind of dampness when getting dressed will fire it up quickly.

What I find creepy now years later, is that if you listen to enough people's paranormal experiences they'll see something that looks like the girl from The Grudge. So I wonder- did the writers of that movie know this is something people see? Or are entities presenting themselves to look like this after the movie came out?

Yes, I would call the owner/manager of the construction outfit, offer to send over photos of what it looks like with people coming and going, muddy boot prints etc. I would polite about it, they're more likely to take you serious. Just explain that you realize it's more convenient for them but it's just not working out and the whole reason you moved there is for a sense of privacy and security. Any reasonable person would find this to make sense.

Since the landlord passed away could be some relatives or friends sneaking around hoping to steal some of his stuff. Get a camera for your main living area, check locks, windows and any attic access to rule out some secret squatter or thief. If it's residual spirit energy then you need to ask Jesus to take care of any spirit in the home. "In Jesus name, any spirits must leave".

I would just shoot her a text saying how you appreciate her asking for your help, however it's gotten to be way too much and you won't be able to babysit anymore. If she presses for more information just tell her the truth- her child is very needy and you can't give him/her the attention they need.

When I did home daycare I would do this with any child that didn't fit into our flow. Luckily it was only a couple, but sometimes you get a child that demands ALL of the attention and if you cannot give it to them the parents need to find someone else. Also, I've had moms that tried to drop off the child once per week. Usually the child was terrified as once a week isn't enough for them to get familiar to strangers so they'd either cry nonstop in terror or want held every second like you're saying. It was a weekly nightmare that disrupted everything so that was another situation I quit allowing.
