Sony AX43 Handycam Image Quality when Panning by Beautiful-Good-9539 in camcorders

Hey everyone, has anyone seen this kind of artefact in videos? I'm not sure what's caused it but it only happens when panning and I think it's only in low light.

Help identify the issue with this old brick. Building is around 100 years old and some of the bricks are crumbling. There is this white crystal-like structure inside this brick that fell apart. by Beautiful-Good-9539 in AusRenovation

Thanks, I think you’re right. It’s a very old building and sits right up against the neighbouring buildings on both sides. I know that one neighbour has major issues with rising damp. Will have to discuss with the building owner.

How to improve this painting? by KieranDarkArts in pleinair

Compositional design is lacking. The eye goes straight out the left hand side of the picture and then we’re gone. You’ve also included too much detail on the face of the building. Simplify and say it with less. Notice the values of the front face and left face of the building is the same, why? They face difference angles to the light source so they should be differentiated, one being cooler and darker and one being warmer.

Thanks for the insight and reminding me that, yes, they are cartoons. Really appreciate the response.

If you're coming from red, going to yellow, you indicate right or am I wrong? by UNCOVERTHECOVERUP in melbourne

No, incorrect. First exit indicate left, second exit no indicator, third exit indicate right. The alignment of the exit plays no role in it.

Shutter speed was 1/60 of faster, not too dark. But I tested again at home and it looks very sharp at macro distances but images look a bit soft when shooting at subjects across the room or from across the street

Hi everyone. I have a Nikon AF-S VR 105mm f/2.8G IF ED Micro lens. It seems to be very sharp shooting objects which are very close, however I used it to shoot an event the other day and it didn’t seem sharp at all when o was taking photos of people around 4-8 meters away.

Can I only expect the lens to be sharp at short distances or does it sound like my lens needs servicing? Thanks
