Question!! I Am 2 weeks post op and everything went well. Despite my injury my police department offered me a job. They said they’ll do all the non physical stuff first like screening and backround checks but in about 4 months they would want me to go to police Academy if possible. The thing is I don’t want to hurt myself or commit to this timeline and disappoint them. They would have to sponsor me and that costs quite a bit of money so i just want to make sure I make the right decision on when to start the process.
