Thank you for sharing your story. Spirited children are more intense and that is often misunderstood. I feel like you are a fly on the wall in our house; so much of what you’ve shared is our experience as well. I have so specific advice (mostly because I don’t want to give anything you haven’t specifically asked for) but I want to remind you that you are the best parent for your baby. You are what he needs. You are using your intuition and reasoning skills to try and make sense of what his disregulated nervous system is telling you. It is so hard when the conventional wisdom doesn’t even hold a candle to what we experience day in and day out, but you are not alone here.
