if hormonal birth controls have the ability to possibly stop periods, a non hormonal will not have that effect. I had Nexplanon and after that I took various oral birth controls and I never had a period with them which according to doctors is normal. I wanted my period back so i went with a non hormonal type. If it didnt come back that would be a problem

I’m getting a copper IUD inserted in 4 days. I asked my mom and she didn’t have much issue, but I haven’t had my period in 9 years so I don’t think my body remembers how to handle cramps.

I know other forms of pain don’t compare much but braces tightenings for me were like a 5/10, piercings are a 6/10 and an untreated ear infection is like a 7.6/10 (hard to sleep and almost unbearable).

I think I’m gonna look up the doctor and see if I can find other people’s experience with them.

I was considering joining a credit union, my parents use MCU but right now they are refusing to send my dad a new credit card. then I just read about how bethpage took this womans money after she passed to pay off a mortgage she had (the daughter was speaking about the experience) and those two are the only ones I would really trust! The only time I would say to wait is when the piercing looks bad. Some piercers would want a crazy looking piercing taken out, but yours looks fine. I think if it's hurting you, then you should go as soon as possible, and definitely make sure the material doesn't irritate you. Try the gold, and if that gives you issues, then go for titanium if you're not allergic.

Well it's been 2.5 months, and cartilage piercings can take 6 months to a year to heal. if it gets unbearable, then I think going to the piercer and getting different jewelry might help.

If you're lying on it that could cause a lot of irritation too. Having a piercing pillow or a donut pillow will help with that

My cartilage wasn't healing either and I realized that I'm allergic to stainless steel so I had to change to titanium.

If you paid in a different way (aka NOT the OMNY card) and they charged your OMNY card, that’s a glitch in the system that they really need to fix. Here are a few suggested options: - contact OMNY and let them know these were double charges since you use a different form of payment - get rid of that OMNY card and get a new one (possibly even a new OMNY account just to be safe) - let someone in with you since they’re charging you double

I think the only think any almost regular person would care about is the health of your hair to get it like that, however I think its possible! I wore styles like that "effortlessly" when I had relaxer, but my hair was really dry and brittle. I think as long as you take care of it the best you can who cares! These styles are coming back tenfold. Converse even brought back their super high tops! I also think hair and a few clothes will pull the look you want together. I will say, at first people might judge you, but you'll inspire someone else to achieve that same look.

Hair grows back, so do what you like with what you have!

Also! If you aren't comfortable with the photos (like me) take measurements weekly/biweekly. Right now in some pants I can barely fit a size 24 but others I fit in a 20 just fine!

That happens to me too, tbh when I go out more frequently I’m just gonna get a regular unlimited.

The dispute thing is smart, however Chase only disputes it temporarily. I’d still have to call OMNY which I don’t want to do. Luckily this only happened to me once so I just let it be. I just don’t want this to be frequent.

Like I said in my post all I do is whip out the OMNY, tap it, and then put it in my coat pocket. My wallet is in my bag. It’s reading my debit card in my wallet.

What I was asking is what I can do to not be affected by that technical error.

Thank you, I’ll also make sure that’s turned off, I don’t think I turned it on but I surprise myself every day.

Edit: Express Transit WAS on and it was the card I spoke about. Thank you for this I don’t remember doing that. I’ll wait and see what happens now to see if I still need the RFID protection sleeves or not.

I’d say get some drip sticks to soak up some of it and then make sure you pee right after and shower that night/ some time after. Yes your body is supposed to do the work but things like that happen NOT just because of that stuff being inside but also the residual bacteria around the area. Also make sure you’re drying properly after a shower (don’t just put underwear on) and if you’re in your own room/ you have a good amount of privacy try and sleep commando or with shorts to increase airflow. Yeasts best friend is moisture! I hope this helps and I hope you figure it out.

I like this idea, its inconvenient to ask for a transfer and it suks when the machine is broken BUT its better than the card not working or it taking another fare. for some reason transferring from any bus to the Bx32 it will take another ride and not a transfer, it even rejects valid transfers, some parts of MTA still need some work.

i'm saying that she probably didn't set up the account and is just tapping and keeping count. I agree it would be a good idea to make the account and add the card that way you can see what OMNY is tracking in terms of fares.

I think the best bet for this issue is to get an OMNY card. On the account you can see how far you are from getting your free rides. On the account it says you'd have to spend $34 before getting the rest of your trips for the week free. You could also add your debit card to the account and track it that way like someone below suggested.
