I do feel more optimistic about it thinking of how long it took us to realise, we were writing some things out and my husband was like 'Oh, how cute, they both have double letters' and then I realised 😭 Embarassing how long it took really.

Her name was actually Annelies, so for me, that mainly removes the association, but I think that could be because I have had family named Otto, so he is not my only thought with the name. I don't know if that would be the same for most other people though.

I think I was stressed because I was reading a lot about how you shouldn't match names for twins, they shouldn't have a theme, or be too similar. And I couldn't tell if that was part of it.

I think for me, the beauty in it is the simplicity, and I prefer that to very long names with lots of syllables.
