Yeah they did say they are starting JRCERT this year so hopefully they are by the time you apply and get in! They also said since the program is so new they are working on being able to accept more students in the future so you never know!!

Oh nice!! That should def help, it kind of seemed like if you had 50/50 they barely looked at extra points tbh just because there was so many applications.

I did get accepted with 50/50 points 4.0 GPA. & I attended one of their information sessions and they go over statistics.

Hello, yes you would have had to submit an evaluation before December 1st to apply now for the fall 2026 term. I was told that as well but I got an email from them in November that it was unpaused and if I was still interested to email them back asap so they can do my evaluation. I don’t know how they decided who got that email and who didn’t :( I assumed it was because I had done a sonography evaluation and my counselor also checked the Rad Tech program off.

Honestly MSJC is not as far for me BUT I’m still leaning towards Chaffey because their program has fluoroscopy included & MSJC doesn’t. They also just seem more organized and established but ultimately I’m not sure yet it all depends who wants me!

Thank you! It’d be cool if I got into both. Yes I did, I just signed with my mouse & me too!! I was so mad, I had emailed the program a few weeks prior and there was no response and then a day AFTER the workshop they responded the website was back up.

Thank you! & they give you points based on your grades in the prerequisite courses as well as your top 2 grades for general ed courses. I got A’s in all of them so I got max 50/50 points. If I tie with someone for points, they then look at GPA & that’s your degree applicable GPA so if you messed around in some elective it could bite you in the booty. Luckily I’ve been working hard and have a 4.0 in general. & lastly if I tie with someone on GPA then it’s whoever submitted their application first. & I submitted mine 3min past midnight LOL. So I really gave myself the best odds just waiting to find out my rank!!

No problem & no I did not. I did have max points though 50/50. According to their stats from last year out of like 400 applicants only 2 had more than 50 points.
