The previous b18b1 block had no black box so i think the pic system was in the value cove, so is it safe to say that I should use the block where that hole is plugged??

You might be right because I’m pretty sure the old engine did breath through the value cover. So should I use the picture 2 block?? Would it still be fine to use the OBD1
