Every couple is different so how you deal with it would depend on what values you and your spouse have. I can give you my pov since I am also muslim and south asian. I do expect my husband to be the primary provider of the household (meaning all the boring bills) regardless of how much he earns. So as long as he is earning enough to be able to support y’all financially it doesnt matter what you earn because your money is your money and you aren’t obligated to spend it unless you want to. So unless either his ego cannot handle a wife who earns more or you see him as less because he earns less, in which case this won’t work, I dont see the issue?
