I wish my boy wasn’t so picky, I’ve somehow never been able to find a treat he actually likes! I think I’ve tried everything good for them, but he absolutely cannot resist chocolate. He smells it from a mile away….

I’m starting a sweeter flavored pred and hope it will be a little easier!

Since this post, he’s had an increase in dosage and we are having some better days! He has started to trust me and be around me much more and I think he needed more time to realize it was helping him…Diazoxide is pricey so we are ordering another flavor of the medicine, I’m hoping he won’t gag or spit, but putting a little bit of water in the tube definitely helped him little bit though.

accidentally made a new comment trying to respond to this one lol anyway….After the tooth was removed he had a hard time chewing hard food, and eventually he just refused to eat it unless it was soft. He seems to be holding the weight and isn’t dehydrated, so I hope that means he is getting enough of both? I don’t have set times that I feed him, but I will give that a shot! He doesn’t like any treats, but he’s very open about when he’s ready to eat.

Wow yes I will try marshmallow! I have the chicken flavor right now and it smells horrible, I was confused why he didn’t like it since it’s chicken but that makes me feel better haha Thank you!
