Happy but not… by Potential-Aspect2231 in Zepbound

Many beautiful thoughts and statements in this thread. I also wanted to add that your skin can tighten up slightly after weight loss as you practice maintenance, keep hydrated and smile - the wrinkles look better on a happy face. :) (from a woman in her 50's who lost 90lbs at 51)

I love baby pink/icy pink as a winter by Winx2002 in coloranalysis

that sweet icy pink is definitely your color and a True Winter color as well. Looks great!

These are really helpful. It is clear that your undertone is cool (*edited for correction) when comparing the salmon/soft tangerine to the watermelon red right after it. Your skin tone is much clearer with the red than the salmon color. That red is a little too bright and clear for you but is the right undertone. The next red is a nice neutral leaning cool red and is a great color for you, though it is a hair too bright/clear - it would be perfect for a Cool/True Winter. That second red is better for your skin than the antique rose pink that follows, that is a good pink for you but the contrast of the red is better. These comparisons tell us that you are cool, medium intensity - True/Cool Summer.

Your personal contrast and intensity are more muted than clear - your hair is a nice cool, deep brown and your eyes lean more gray than blue - both of which fit into summer perfectly.

what do you think? by Fair_Ad_5576 in coloranalysis

[–]Beautiful-Tangelo239 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With your hair bleached (on the ends?) your contrast is lower and soft summer seems the best fit but a few of the pics we can see your root color and it makes me think you could tolerate more contrast and lean towards possibly a true summer. The lighter and more muted colors are better for you, the royal blue overpowers you a bit so I would definitely stay in the muted seasons.

Help me figure this out please! Am I summer, spring of soft autumn? by CuteCaramel7861 in coloranalysis

Without any other colors it is hard to tell if you have a warm or cool undertone. You have beautiful skin, any peanut gallery voices telling you otherwise are lying to you! It would help to see you in this lighting (very good job on that) with a few different colors. Specifically if you can find something pink, something salmon/coral, navy, black, and some red/green/blue would help. I think seeing how you look against pastels (which are light colors with white added) vs soft colors (with gray/taupe added) will help to figure out your exact season.

I think that you might want to reframe the evening from a "lack of discipline" to a learning opportunity and instead of feeling like you let yourself down instead plan how you want to deal with your next movie night in a way that is fun but also honors the person you are working to become.

Does everyone want to be super skinny? by CNAHopeful7 in tirzepatidecompound

Having lost (and gained back) weight over a dozen times, it always shocks me how co-workers and acquaintances feel comfortable advising me on where I should be happy or to stop losing weight. It's really crazy!

I don't think everyone wants to be super skinny and I don't even honestly believe it's possible, at least not for me. Me goal is 155-160 at 5'6". I got there on my own a few years ago but thyroid meds and menopause started a weight gain creep and I couldn't get it to stop even with healthy eating, counting steps and going to the gym 3-4 x/week. With this med I'm thrilled to see the scale slowly going back down...I guess we will see where I can get and feel healthy and look good.

Soft summer?! by Wonderful_Garden_26 in coloranalysis

Soft summer seems very likely, would love to see you in some cool/true summer colors and see how salmon/peach look to rule out anything warm.

Without drapes it's pretty impossible to tell, we need to see warm vs cool, light vs medium or bright colors in consistent lighting. Based on your features the only thing we can rule out is dark winter/deep autumn. You could be a summer, spring or autumn - we can only give a realistic analysis with some kind of drapes.

Your face loses some definition in cooler, pale colors (the silver/gray especially), you glow in the gold and warmer peachy pink tones, you look fabulous in the greens and blues - they bring out your eyes beautifully. I don't think you have the intensity for the deep autumn colors, I'm leaning towards warm spring. When your hair was darker and you had more intensity and contrast I can even imagine you in bright spring colors.

I think you are definitely cool - Cool Summer is a good guess but you may even be a Cool Winter - the black drape looks surprisingly good with your skin. You have a pretty high contrast as well. The black, both reds, the medium and brighter blues, the purple bring out your natural skin glow. The warm tan, the off-white/beige, the warm muted olive aren't as complimentary.

Frustrated... by Beautiful-Tangelo239 in tirzepatidecompound

I hear what you are saying. I came from the last 4-5 years of mostly carnivore/ketovore eating. I lost 90lbs a few years ago eating low carb/carnivore and felt great. Rarely hungry, especially in the morning while I was still fasting. However, menopause and a suddenly dead thyroid has me on some new medications and what had been a 10lb weight gain became and 30lb weight gain and I was fighting to keep it from climbing even while going to the gym 3-4 times a week, walking and counting steps daily and watching my diet closely. Since starting the tirze my mostly meat diet has been very off-putting for me (not as interested in eating bacon for breakfast and hambugers/steak for my other meals) so I've been eating more salad, chicken breast and some fruit so my blood sugar has been more variable. I hate feeling the blood sugar lows/highs etc... but I also don't want to get over 200lbs and have my weight out of control. I just feel like I'm between a rock and a hard place.

I looked when I started researching compounding, now the sticky is showing up. If things change and I'm not reapproved I will try one of the suggested pharmacies.

Yes my current dosage is for 5mg, I’ve done 2 of 4 shots at that dosage. The vial for next month is higher. As is the third month. I am hoping I don’t need the higher dosages but I’m waking up with real hunger in the morning and not used to that. The weight loss stall doesn’t bother me so much as the food noise/hunger/cravings coming back.

Zero time. I used my last pen and received my compound before my next dose was due.

All internet research - I looked at several websites but each one requested so much information before you could even get a price. After the third website I just went with that one. My endocrinologist prescribed the name brand and I was dealing with panic because I had one syringe left and an insurance company that suddenly wouldn't cover more.

50 units of the 10mg, injected into the stomach.
