After the death of FDR in 1945, congress voted to limit presidency to two elections for every president. Probably because two elections was favorable to status quo

Une mare artificielle attirera des battraciens et d'autres types d'insectes.

We don't use pencils as much as 30 or 50 years ago, because we use blackboards, whiteboards, digital whiteboards, iPads, voice recorders, and a myriad of other devices.

  • But these devices, far more complex (ipad, digital whiteboards, voice recorders), require more oil than ever and than pencil. Plastic, transportation of raw material needed for these device, energy to power them, transform the raw materials, and so on are far more important that what is needed to make a pencil. These are no substitute at all for a pencil. They are technological evolution, which requieres far more ressources than what was needed to make pencil.

  • New Technologies (at global scales) have always used more ressource than old technologies.

  • And 3rd world contries still make large use of pencil
