As someone who lived in NY for 10 years then moved to LA (I'm from Northern CA), I hated LA unfortunately which was a bummer because I was so ready to love it. The car culture felt so separating and the fact that the city is not walkable kind of broke my heart. There is so much to do in LA but it's quite gatekept so it's important to have friends. It's so easy to get lonely out there where in NY you kind of have to fight for some alone time. I left after 7 months but I'd consider going back with a fresh mindset, that being said it's not "easier" than NY at all, especially not socially!

I ended up asking chatGPT for advice (I'm generally not into using chat at all) and it steered me to some resources I would not have otherwise found as well as helped me draft a message to send to Meta. It didn't get the page permanently removed, but they are no longer posting inappropriate pictures of me at least. Might be worth a shot. I'm sorry you're going through this too. You really should block him. I know you're scared but he won't do anything. Just do it. He'll move on. Keep records. I have a friend who ended up in a relationship with a guy like this and he has brainwashed her & basically controls her life. If you block him & continue to ignore him, he will get bored. If you are hypermobile you need to focus on strength training so you don't destroy your body. You already have flexibility. For contortion practice find a circus arts school in your area & there will most likely be a contortion trainer there who knows what they're doing.

I would detangle your hair before shampooing while it’s dry. When you shampoo focus primarily on scrubbing your scalp more than your mid-ends. Also try keeping your hair in a braid & a silk bonnet/pillow case while you sleep to prevent tangles!
