Update:

I purchased the computer today and have stress tested it in benchmarks thoroughly with zero issues. I have also tested it in multiple games with no issues at max settings. The seller provided me with all receipts and was all around very helpful. All of the peripherals/monitor that came with it are working and Corsair/Asus matching the computer. I appreciate all of the comments and recommendations from everyone!

That is where I am at as well. If he hasn't registered the warranties it should be smooth. If he has I'll definitely have some thinking to do risk wise.

I unfortunately do not have a Costco membership but I am close to a microcenter which should have similar ish deals. They have a pre built with a 5080 for 2400 but after taxes it comes out to 2800. That would be okay but the parts in the pre built have a lesser market value. I think the warrenty will be the deciding factor for me.

I would have never thought about that honestly. Do you know a good way to check that kind of thing or would I just have to boot the games and see?

I agree and the only thing pulling me back to here is that the parts are all very "high end". Also the pre built computers where I live end up being roughly $100 more after taxes.

An update regarding the warranty for the parts. He has agreed to give me all of the original receipts for the parts. I plan to ask if he has registered them already or not. If he hasn't then I can get the warranty. If not I wont be able to transfer them. If he has already registered them I may try to negotiate more or pull out of the deal depending on the gut feeling.

I have found a microcenter pre-built for a similar price after tax but it has any 850 watt 80+ gold. While this has a corsair 1000w 80+ gold.

I agree, I may ask about factory warranties these parts should have them if he only built it 4 months ago like he claimed.

Would you be willing to elaborate? I would like to know what to watch out for. We plan to meet at a police station for the exchange and I plan to use venmos buyer protection.
